*Interfaces with the Design Team to monitor schedule and budget performance. Reviews, coordinates and monitors the works of all Electrical designers to provide guidance as per project requirements and specifications.
*Execution of project deliverable as per contract KPI for the key stakeholders of project
*Participates in the VE and manage all VE studies, constructability and other workshops; and drives the on-schedule submittal of the Electrical design deliverables.
*Responsible for management of the delivery of the design of the various Electrical projects by verifying consistency in the design with respect to adherence to the design criteria and required standards.
*May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies in public meetings to support the client in matters related to the Electrical works.
>Serves as primary interface with the design team in performing design reviews or addressing construction-related issues related to the electrical systems. Analysis and evaluation of bills monthly with respect to the progress.
*Verifying and executing the work in time with the approved project plan without affecting critical path.
*Carry out inspections onsite to ensure that the execution of Electrical works compliance with contract drawings, specifications, and Local Authorities regulations and report deficiencies to the concerned and Project Manager, if possible with an alternative solution.
*Attend meetings with Client and Contractors to resolve and propose technical and contractual solutions for any outstanding/ disputed issues.
*Provide review & approval for Sub-Contractors pre-qualification and recommendations to client.
*Maintains overall knowledge of drawings, specifications, general contracts and time schedules related to the various Electrical works.
*Review and approval of IFC, Shop drawings, Material Approval Submittals, Inspection and Test Plan, RFI prior to issuance to contractor, Testing & Commissioning plans.
*Review and audit, the material procurement schedules and shop drawings submittals.
*A key function is to manage the responses to design RFIs, review/comment on Change Orders, and provide overall supervision for the design direct reports, while managing schedule and budget control.

Where I perform above mentioned role to control the quality of the System & Work in means of Execution and as well as design. My functionalities are specified below:
*Perform routine application of Quality Management system for EPC works and designings.
*Preparation of Shop drawings and designing.
*Preparing cable size calculation, it voltage drop analysis, and containment layout designing.
*Preparation of MEP infrastructure co-ordination drawings.
*Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel
*Conducting Quality inspection for project Materials to assure the quality as per the project specification.
*Asses process & quality of products and design by inspection, review and auditing.
*Maintenance of Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2015.
*Finding of Non-conformity in design and executions so as to maintain Quality.
*Conduct document reviews on Project team procedures and reports
*Manage the preparation and arrangement of audit reports and progressing close out of actions under Quality Manager's Supervision.
*Preparation of Quality related documents like, Inspection & Test Plans, RFIT's T&C Plans etc.

*Maintaining close good terms and co-ordination with client, customers and suppliers.

*Project Management in maintaining manpower requirements as per need so as to avoid manpower wastage

*Designing, Preparation & Execution of Main Power Schematics, External LV, HV & ELV services.
*Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Firefighting & Fire alarm system, Earth pits, SMDB, DB, Lighting system, Lighting Dimmer Systems, Gas leakage detection Systems, PACage systems, Transfer & Cold water Pumps.
*Review & process all electrical technical MAS & drawing submissions as per client requirements.
Suryachakra Power Plant is a govt. undertaking sector which has various other Power plant in various parts of India; besides thermal plants they even have 5 MW Biomass Plants also.
Roles & Responsibilities:
*Periodic (hourly check) of 33/11 KV feeders, 10000 KVA transformers, auxiliary pumps running hours, power export and Import readings.
*Provide necessary settings for relays on I/C & O/G panels, change of Taps on Power transformers to maintain voltage regulations.
*Charging of ACB breakers, Oil flash point tests of transformers oils, NGR (Neutral Ground Resistor) testing’s and replacement of 33 kV SF6 breakers.
*Charging, Shutdown and Back-feed energizing of plant under emergencies.
*Periodic overhauling of 4 Nos. of 5 MW Diesel Generator’s- Crank Shafts, Turbochargers, Cooling Towers, Piston & Piston rings replacements, auxiliary pumps, exhausts, diesel filters, air compressors and motors.
*Documentation of any shut down, service interruptions or back-feed charging.
*Preparation of shift handing over report which includes calculation of efficiency in terms of Diesel consumption for per Kilo Watt Hour production.
