Manage and support the development, implementation and maintenance of the Safety elements of the company's Safety Management System, and ensure that the goals and requirements of the Company's Safety Policy and associated Standards are achieved in all activities.
• Ensure that the company's Safety Management System supports the delivery of Regulatory Compliance.
Develop and maintain of Emergency Response Plans, Systems and Organization.
• Act as technical focal to lead incident command in case of process safety incident such as fire and spill.
• Lead the compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Safety Management System.
• Perform safety audits and inspection of facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure standard and safety regulation compliance.
• Create training modules and conduct training programs based on the need of the organization including contract personnel as necessary.
• Provide assistance and technical advice on safety issue.
• Lead the detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis and recommend technical and personal safety action plans to avoid incident recurrence.
• Identify industry best safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
• Liaise with government and private agencies related to Safety.
• Review the technical capabilities of the existing firefighting equipment and recommend upgrading as necessary.
• Implement Industry wide safety programs to promote safety awareness

In-charge in the Safety Management of Horizontal Project requirements for Royal Commission projects which includes: excavation for electrical pipelines, mechanical and telecommunication systems, Road embankments and asphalting
• Includes Environmental audit on water potability test, air pollution and control such as the monitoring of smoke emissions of construction vehicles for Preventive Maintenances Scheduling, Noise Control such as power generators and control of noise by using peripherals such as ear plugs and muffs and diverting the noise in engineering controls, and proper containment of chemical wastes and its disposal.
• Ensures and creates the Safety Management and Construction Phase Plan based on the approved contract of the client before the start of any work.
• Conduct weekly Tool box meeting per the client's requirement and conduct enhancement trainings for site personnel and workers such as Green Man Training and other related seminars and required trainings specified by the client..
• Attend weekly progress meeting with Royal Commission and Safety monthly meeting and
• Supervision on personnel safety on site based on the minimum requirements of compliance as required by the Royal Commission-SABCO standards and OSHA.
• Spearhead the accidents reporting and investigation, issued memorandum for safety violation, accompany client Safety auditors in site when needed.
• Report to the Project Manager and recommends Unsafe issues for rectification.
Overall In-charge in the absence of General Manager and of the supervision of the whole depot.
Conduct daily regular safety meeting with warehouse personnel before the start of every work activity.
Performs stocks auditing on a monthly, quarterly and year-end basis.
Conduct inspection and documentation on the warehouse discrepancy and report to the top management
Give orientation on the newly hired personnel needed for the depot regarding safety and operation procedures.
In-charge on the control of security and personnel.
Assist the client during warehouse visit for audit and inspection.
Review and validates the warehouse dispatch invoicing.
Plan and implements warehouse improvements.

Job Description:
Primarily conduct inspection before and after work and inspect reliable working documents posted by site supervisors prior to the start of work such as work permits, Job Safety Analysis, Risk Assessment Plan, daily inspections of plant machineries/vehicles provided by the company to ensure safe operations.
In-charge for the monitoring and implementation of safety compliance for the steel structural erection and pipe laying and foundation works, and general works in Petro-chemical plant project.
Inspection of working competencies for workers involved in hazardous activities such as hot works, confine spaces, lifting jobs and etc.
Monitoring and implementing safety procedures for HSE / Loss and Prevention Department, assisting the superiors in implementing the policy and procedures adopted by the company and its clients to the site personnel.
Making reports regarding the observed hazards and propose counter measures to control the hazardous potentials.
Recommends disciplinary action for non-safety complying personnel.
Train and instruct construction workers through safety toolbox meetings on the assigned areas; instructs and uplifts construction supervisors through the system of motivation plotted by the company.
Creates new safety strategies and proposal for approval.
Train New Safety Officers newly hired by the company thru work orientation in the site.
