Handling all the responsibilities of the Management Representative as required by the international standards ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 where my main responsibilities are:
Reporting to Management on the performance of the Quality And Environment Management Systems and any need for improvement.
Ensures that Quality and Environmental Management Systems are Implemented effectively and continuously improved.
Coordinating to organize for meetings related to Quality And Environment Management Systems.
Responsible for coordinating and arranging the relation with External Parties in matters related to Quality and Environment Management Systems.
Responsible for preparing Internal Audit Programs and review of Quality and Environmental Management Systems documents before getting approval from General Manager.
Maintaining master copy set and distributing all Quality and environmental Management Systems Documents.
Proposing Changes in the Quality and Environmental Management Systems in view of arising developments or requirements.
Responsible for collecting all necessary data for Management Review meetings.
Responsible for organizing Internal Audits for Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
Responsible for accepting Corrective actions and date of completion in case of Non-Conformity in Quality or Environmental Management Systems and organize follow up audits for the corrective actions.
Responsible for determining the needs of and means for training in matters connected to Quality and Environmental Management systems improvement.
Responsible for ensuring that Quality and environmental objectives and targets are set and implemented within the time frame.
Member of Manpower Committee from July 2006 till February 2011 when the committee is dissolved.
1) Reviews the production and dispatch schedules before release to top management and confirms implementation of the same after approval along with availability of sufficient stocks of intermediate and finish products for dispatch.
2) Monitors achievement of all production targets at specified standards and minimum cost.
3) Monitors and confirms the effective operation and maintenance of all plant equipment.
4) Monitors production cost trends and identifies areas of possible improvement and initiates proposals for modification or change in operation, process, materials, layout, equipment, spares etc., for improving efficiency and reducing cost.
5) Reviews periodical production and operation reports.
6) Monitors and reviews operational and production plans
for all plant equipment and confirms its proper implementation.
7) Monitors operational and quality control parameters in the whole plant.
8) Monitors and confirms that the quality of Raw materials, intermediate products and finish products is as per specified standards. Also confirms that sampling and testing are according to quality plan.
9) Monitors and provides advice with respect to preventive maintenance and reviews maintenance plans, schedules and history for all plant equipment.
10) Monitors and confirms the proper maintenance and calibration for all measurement devices and confirms that any faulty response is located and rectified properly and timely.
11) Ensures proper coordination between relevant sections for achieving production and operation targets and determining the methods for improving efficiency of operations and / or quality through modifications in operation, process, raw materials mix, equipments etc.
12) Reviews the annual budget, purchases, contracts, projects, spares inventory and manpower utilization of works department and monitors its implementation after final approval from top management.
13) Monitors all the KPI's of the plant operation.
Member of the Environmental committee in the company from July 2004 till May 2010 when the committee is dissolved
a) Supervises and coordinates all production operations.
b) Makes regular rounds on works to ensure proper operations & adequate control process parameters.
c) Studies production output cost trends & identifies areas of possible improvement.
d) Suggests modification of operational conditions, layout, equipment etc. for improving efficiency.
e) Reviews all maintenance works done in Production Section.
f) Inspects major, preventive and routine repairs, trials and pays personal attention to the maintenance and repair of important equipments.
g) Reviews inspection and maintenance reports to ensure that reports are prepared as required.
h) Ensures proper maintenance and calibration of all weighing equipments.
i) Ensuring that proper and effective operations are maintained and reviewing various daily operation reports.
j) Ensuring that adequate quantities of all raw materials, fuels, raw meal, clinker, cement and slag are available all the time.
k) Maintaining equipments in the sections and planning repairs.
l) Doing annual, monthly and weekly and shut down planning for maintenance and periodical inspection.
m) Planning and justifying the requirements for the annual & monthly budget proposals of each section.
n) Planning annual requirements of spares for each Section and inspects spares received, Follows up with stores for maintaining adequate stocks.
o) Supervising maintenance activities of operational and emergency, troubles and ensuring that prompt action is taken so that plant is operated under normal condition.
p) Reviewing and maintaining various inspection, maintenance and repair reports.
q) Studying of various technical problems and suggesting solutions.
r) Doing feasibility studies, commissioning / monitoring and evaluating performance of new equipments and arrange mass and heat balance till the targets are achieved and makes job standard for it.
s) Preparing shut down schedule and ensuring completion of jobs in time.
