• Responsible for smooth functioning of the Human Resource
• Ensures compliance with Company Policy & procedures, & Egypt Government regulations pertaining to employment practices.

• Supports & promotes the Area Transfer System, MEA opportunities, appraisal systems and the Succession Planning Program.
• Maintains an effective mechanism for co-coordinating employee transfers within and outside the region.

• Maintains employee records and statistical trends relating to turnover, transfers and other employee data as applicable.
• Co-ordinates the effective implementation of employee relations policies and practices.
• Ensures at least minimum standards of the Human Resources function are practiced in the property .
• Implements and monitors an effective communications program at all levels of management and staff, and through out the departments .
• Provides functional leadership and guidance to Staff .
• Provides professional Personnel support, as appropriate, in instances of hotel openings, takeovers and closures.
• Monitors hotel Labor costs, ensuring a linkage with productivity and hotel performances.
• Provides career counseling of key hotel staff, as required.
• Consults in respect or process and fairness of dismissal of key hotel employees.
• Conducts Human Resources review visits, minimum once yearly to ensure hotels compliance with established policies, procedures and standards with a detailed written report on the "HR Service Standards" format provided by the Area VP Human Resources, sent to both the DOO .
• Ensure that Egyptian commitments and objectives at both Government level and those set by the company are met & surpassed on a yearly basis.
• Review the result of the Employees opinion survey & set the required action plan provides feedback to General Manager.
• Keep abreast of trends and developments within the Human Resources field and advises the DOO, General Manager accordingly.
• Monitors and ensures that Health & Safety and Environment best practices are implemented.
• Ensures that employee’s reward and recognition programs are in place.
• Conducts periodic compensation and benefits survey, analyses findings and makes appropriate recommendations.
