Description The Scope of the WORK shall include, but not be limited to, the execution and completion of the
following main items:
 Design & Construction of the civil works and associated MEP works for two large diameter utility tunnels
for the future installation of the 66KV cable crossings under the proposed tidal canal from the mainland
to the QETAIFAN North Island (adjacent to Bridge 9) and to QS1, the QETAIFAN South Island #1 (adjacent
to Bridge 8).
 Construction of the MARAFEQ‐designed gas pipeline crossings between the mainland and the North
Island (adjacent to Bridge 9) and the mainland and QS1 (adjacent to Bridge 8) and between islands QS1,
QS2 and QS3.
 Removal of a section of the existing sea wall at the proposed Beach Club on the west side of island QS1,
excavation of the proposed new beach area and construction of new realigned sea walls. (Note -
Construction of the beach and back of beach works are excluded from the scope and will be constructed
by the CP12 contractor).
 Widening of the five (5) existing temporary earth bunds adjacent to permanent bridge structures 3, 5, 7,
8 and 9 that currently provide temporary vehicular access between the four QETAIFAN Islands and
connect the islands to the mainland. Construction of pipe culverts within the earth bunds to allow water
circulation and flushing of the flooded lagoon, plus associated side slope protection enhancements to
the earth bunds.
 Raising the finished level of the existing sea wall on QETAIFAN Islands from 2.0m to 2.5m QNHD by the
installation of precast reinforced concrete capping blocks to the limits shown on the drawings; placing
and compaction of fill material behind the blocks to the final required width and formation level and
construct concrete block staircases adjacent to the sea wall at 5No (five) locations providing restricted
access from the promenade to the tidal lagoon basin.
My duites I’m fully responsible for design and engineering management necessary for completion of the
work, check, review and verify the design information including all aspects of the supplied design that shall be
adequate for the purpose in accordance with the contract in respect to all value engineering added, managing
production of all necessary engineering drawings, data sheets, specifications, procedures and method statements
for the completion of the work, all coordination works with all clients, designers, consultants and subcontractors
related to all engineering disciplines and activities, and technical evaluations bids.

The LUSAIL development is located north of Doha and is a 2000 hectare site, which will comprise
residential housing for approximately 200, 000 residents, mixed‐use retail, commercial centers, hotels and
community facilities. The total resident, office and visitor population is expected to be approximately 450, 000 of
which contract package CP07‐A‐1B north forms an integral part. The CONTRACTOR for the CP07‐A‐1B North project
is to supply and construct, furnish all supervision and monitoring, documentation, equipment, materials, labor and
incidentals necessary to successfully complete the project in compliance with the contract. The contractor shall
perform, as a minimum, the primary items of work listed below. The list is not all‐inclusive, and the contractor shall
be responsible for identifying all items of work and executing them. The contractor scope include, but not limited to
the following:
 Removal and disposal of over site debris, temporary substructures and other unsuitable materials on the
site as a result of other contractors’ activities.
 Formation of temporary access roads and pedestrian safe walking routes in and out of the site.
 Temporary fences and physical barriers (edge protection) around all excavations perimeters.
 Traffic and pedestrian management and maintenance.
 Temporary site offices for LREDC and representatives for six months from Effective Date, then transfer
to the combined CP07 Hub office provided by LUSAIL.
 Excavation and grading to designed levels.
 Temporary earthwork supports, Berms, trench boxes etc.
 Monitoring of excavations, and nearby structures including the existing sea wall.
 Temporary works including dewatering, temporary lateral support and walls.
 Construction of Roads and Pedestrian Pavements.
 Construction of Promenade Cycle Path.
 Supply and installation of traffic gantries and signals.
 Supply and installation of roadway lighting.
 Road Signage including Direction signs and support structures.
 Safety Barriers.
 Construction and installation of foul sewage, storm water, irrigation, storm water drainage, potable
water network, and associated pumping stations.
 Construction and Installation of Electrical Distribution network and associated substations.

 Construction and Installation of Telecommunication, ELV, SSD and SCADA duct bank network. The
contractor shall construct ITS duct banks, manholes, and pull strings.

Description The coast guard channel is a channel with 80m bed width with side slopes of 3H: 1V and a
constant water depth of 6.88m should be excavated into the sea at SIMESMA zone in Qatar. The aim of the channel
is to allow all coast guard fleet accessing their marina near the beach line. The total length of the channel is 1120m
measured from the marina access gate up to the end of the channel into the sea. The channel existing bed has
varied water depth from 0.60m up to 3.40m which should be excavated to reach fixed water depth of 6.88m. The
channel bed soil strata are sand, calcarenite, lime stone C-15MPa, lime stone B-40MPa& lime stone A-90Mpa with overall excavated materials are 526, 000m3.

Description Design, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Installation, Construction, and Commissioning of the FACILITY as described: 1. Approximately 20.90 kilometers of perimeter industrial security fence shall be installed along the new
RLIC southern fence line. This comprises of the removal and reinstallation of existing fencing, along with the installation of new fencing as follows.
2. Three (3) coiled razor tape fencing along the proposed new industrial fence line and 5.0 meters wide
asphalt security and maintenance access road, running inside and parallel to the fence line.
3. Earthing shall be provided as required along the new fence line and also at location where the fence is
crossing under the overhead transmission lines.
4. Refurbish, relocate and re-commission existing, CCTV camera, CCTV and Microwave radio Tower,
antenna, solar panel, batteries, charger, Microwave radio and all associated components as one unit.
5. Refurbish and relocate existing observation tower.
6. Design, Fabricate and construct one new observation tower.
7. Provide underground crossings for the security & maintenance road and new link road connecting Tariq
Street and Sealine Avenue.
8. The New road from Old Dhakira Road roundabout to Ras Laffan City Sealine road, measuring 32.0
meters wide road corridor, as per Ashghal as-built drawings, and 1.4 Kilometers in length shall be paved to provide a new access road to Beach Area.
9. A New link road connecting the east end of Tariq Street with the south end of Sealine Avenue
(constructed by M/S CCC under RLPEP) . This is a 2-way single carriageway of 8 meters width and measuring approximately 560metres in length.
10. Provide new ducts and telecom manholes along the link road connecting Tariq Street with Sealine
Avenue and Provide 36 core SM Fiber optic cable end to end connectivity between EMTB and POB fiber
optic patch panels.
