Achievements:
• Achieved a safe and sustainable startup of the plant.
• Tracked incident root cause analysis action to closure, this included tracking 100+ action items, assisting the responsible party in closing their actions and responsible for action close out verification.
• handled 1000+ action items as a result from 25 risk assessment studies, this including prioritizing them, assigning them to the appropriate party and tracking them to closure then finally verifying them as closed.
• Worked with DNV-GL on the updated blast study and Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) study.
• Handled the buildings blast retrofit project with Energo including providing data, communicating results to top management, working with project management team on retrofit actions and mitigation plans to be able to restart the plant safely.
• Work with commissioning and startup team for the startup activities of the plant, this included providing technical support for the PSSR, reviewing the punch list and exception list and coordinating the work between different teams.
• Conduct process safety studies as part of the MOC process.
• Technical review for engineering documents (PFD, P&ID, Cause & Effect, HAZOP response, SIL determination and plot plans) for new modifications in the plant.
• Provide support to management and whole company on matters related to process safety management.
• Ensured that firefighting equipment perform as per design in accordance to NFPA standards.
• Prepare dashboard for PSM metrics including progress to close action items required for plant restart.
• Facilitated meetings between Bechtel and Angola LNG project management team to advance open action items from the incident root cause analysis.
