Administering Ministry of Municipalites and Agriculture Affairs IT Systems infrastructure, consisting of more than 1400 users and 36 different Municipality sites all over Bahrain. Responsible for Managing Windows Active Directory 2008, Mail Servers, ISA Servers, Database and Application Servers. Accountable for analyzing, planning, designing and leading the implementation and configuration Servers and Networks. Responsible for optimizing and enhancing client’s Network and Security, and Server infrastructure to increase capabilities and effectiveness. Interfaces extensively with all the users of different Municipalities (Manama, Muharraq, Southern, Northern and Central).

Head of MIS for Vitol Middle East (Bahrain, Dubai, Fujairah, and Pakistan). Lead all information technology operations within the company and subsidiaries. Responsible for planning, designing, developing, and evaluating computer systems and Infrastructure on all Vitol Middle East sites. Manages Systems Admins and Systems Support Engineers. Implement IT Projects, Policies and Procedures, and Disaster Recovery /Business Continuity. Responsible for IT Budget (CAPEX/OPEX), monitoring, and auditing expenses.

Provided technical support for Hi-Tech W.L.L clients, which include:

1. Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and upgrading Computers and Servers and other add-on peripherals (Compaq and Dell machines, etc.).

2. Perform installation and preventive maintenance on Windows 95/98/NT/ME/2000 machines.

3. Software and application programs installation.

4. On-site visitation to clients for PC Maintenance and Server Maintenance.

5. Project Implentation:
• Install Antivirus software for GULF AIR - Bahrain, including:
-Installation Mc Afee Antivirus on all Clients (Windows NT Workstations/Server)
- Configuration of Scan Engine and Virus Signature Files
- Antivirus console automatic updates.

Introduced and coordinated for the development of curriculum for B.S. Computer Engineering, Diploma in Computer Electronics Technology/Technician, and PC Troubleshooting courses for Systems Technology Institute.

Designed and developed the courseware for STI (Systems Technology Institute) - Colleges which are offering Courses in Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Diploma in Computer Electronics Technology, Computer Technician, PC Troubleshooting

Note: Above courseware are still being used by Systems Technology Institute on all their Colleges and Educational Centers throughout the Philippines and Abroad (Approximately, there are about a hundred more STI establishments in the Philippines and Abroad). Most of the courseware materials have been published as references for STI-students who are taking the said courses).

“Aside from developing the said courseware, Part of my job as a ‘Courseware Developer I’ is to train or conduct seminar, facilitate discussion and evaluate STI Instructors/Professors on the proper use of courseware materials and the techniques of lecturing to the students. Also, part of the development is to provide the list of necessary materials, instruments or devices needed for the hands-on or laboratory exercises”.
