TECHNICAL DUTIES
• New product development and validation (Colors/Additives/Fillers/Black/White/Others)
• Raw material development for major process input
(Polymer/Polymer Additives/Pigments/Others)
• Managing R&D activities in the laboratory and to improve the R&D laboratory (new test equipment, new test methods, etc.)
• Monitor the performance of R&D projects / evaluation & provide timely & accurate reports to management
• Searching potential improvement opportunities; preparing plans and raising them to the direct superior.
SETTING DEPARTMENT PLANS AND PROGRAMS..
• Participating in setting the department budget through identifying expected expenses.
• Defining and executing plans for development and improvement of efficiency.
• Controlling expenses and keeping it within the set budget.
• Issuing regulations, technical and administrative decisions for achieving plans and programs which complies with the approved authorities and responsibilities.
GENERAL ADMINISTRATION DUTIES.
• Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates for reviewing progress and work flow, discussing their suggestions and taking suitable actions accordingly.
• Preparing periodic reports with respect to the activities and achievements to be submitted to the direct supervisor for review.
• Specifying manpower requirements according to the recruitment and selection system and as per the human resources planning practices at the company.
• Identifying training needs of subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of the training courses in coordination with the concerned employees in the HR & Admin Department.
• Following-up employee affairs including vacations, leaves …etc.
• Conducting performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices at the company.
• Nominating a deputy to carry out the responsibilities of the position in case of absence or whenever the need arises.
Currently I am working in clariant masterbatches Saudi Arabia and my key responsibilities are.
Executes QC testing in compliance with internal SOPs.
Visual assessment for all incoming finished product samples.
Update data in GP system (traceability and recipe).
Provide correction for all non ok items.
Report results in the required format ( QC report) & filling system.
Report results for all incoming finished product sample in on line QC report Xls.
Issue certificate of analysis for all Finished Product.
To mold color chips, labeling and packaging.
Support color matchers and technicians for the color matching activities.
Lab weighing scales check on daily basis.
Testing of RAW materials.
during my job i involve personally with the workers and ensure that the process or product is made according to the specifications and i used the best ways to manufacture the products
