• Assuring Electrical work according to NEC/IEC standards and dealing with Clients, Vendors & subcontractors.
• Following Weekly/Monthly Progress meetings and assisting Project manager
• Load CALCULATIONS, Load Sheets/Schedule & Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Drafting & QC Supervision and Documentations as per site Quality Plan/Procedure (QCP) for

• Design, drafting & approval of Telephone (Etisalat) drawings from concerned departments.
• Design and drafting of firefighting drawing for buildings and approval from Ministry of Civil Defense.
• HVAC load calculations for buildings and wedding hall.
• Change in drawings (As built drawings).
• Approval of Electrical drawings from Etihad Water and Electricity Authority (FEWA).
• NOCs (No objection Certificates) from concerned Authorities like Etihad W&E, Etisalat & Civil Defense required for work flow.
Site management and plan making to improve work progress

QA/QC Engineer for the supervision of Site work including but not limited to
Cable tray Installation and cable laying
LV/MV Switchgear Installations & Testing
MV Cables testing
Insulation Resistance (IR) testing
Hi-Pot testing
Material receiving,
Transformers QA inspections & installations.

Supervision of QC Instrumentation and communication work including but not limited to
I & C cable testing,
supervision of installation of
pressure gauges,
Thermocouples,
Vibration sensors,
speed sensors
Communication duct bank,
Cable tray installation.
Closing Punch points of ECC/RFIs.
QC Documentation of all the I&C including RFIs/FQPs/ITPs/MRIR

QA/QC supervision of all type of Site work including but not limited to
1.Power and auxiliary Transformers (273/241/191 MVA/1500 KVA etc) installation
2.MV/LV Switchgear installation
3.As per QA requirements Insulation Resistance IR and Hi-Pot Testing of
MV Cables
Generators (GTGs)
Transformers and
motors
4.Raising and Following RFI for various type of systems of the power plant
5.Following weekly meetings with our Vendor/subcontractors
6.Following ECC/MCC Punch points
7.Open Box inspections or Material Receiving Inspections (MRIR) of Transformers/GCBs/MV/LV Switchgear Panels with vendor staff
8.Coordination among Subcontractors and other staff members
9.Making progress Reports and briefing Manager

Electrical work supervision including but not limited to
• Good Site management, Plan making, and communication skills.
• Design and review of drawings pertaining to Electrical works.
• Ensure all material used comply with approved Material Approval Request (MAR).
• Regular visit to Contractors stores to make sure that storage, handling and preservation activities are carry out as per manufacture recommendation.
• Installation of wires, cables, receptacles, switches & lighting system .
• Installation of lightning protection system .
• Electrical Supervision (lighting & Small power system).
• Conduits according to the approved size and the location.
• Conduiting in ground/first and roof floor slab according to the required size of conduit.
• Wiring according to approved size of lighting wires, Power wires and data cables
• Insulation resistance test and continuity Test of lighting & power wiring
• Ensuring The Distribution Board installation according to approved load schedule.
• Fixing and installation of Lighting switches, Power Socket outlets and data Outlets as per approved drawing.
• Material Receiving Inspections Reports (MRIR)
• Assuring Electrical site work according to Project standards and dealing with consulting engineers
• Weekly progress meetings to achieve better efficiency.
• Planning and arranging for materials to be used on time
• Making daily records of work
• Raising and following Non Conformance Reports (NCRs) with coordination of Site Incharge.
Estimating & Designing layout of LV Panel boards as:
MDP, MCC & Power Factor Control Panels with Schneider, ABB, Mitsubishi & EATON Components
