• Ensure compliance with the Project Quality Plan and Quality Strategy relating to the scope of work.
• Installing / maintaining QC laboratory at site with all required equipment’s as per contract specifications / Quality Manual System Plan (QMSP).
• Monitoring and preparation of Mix Design - wet & Dry Shotcrete of grade M35 (A10) (Plain Shotcrete, PFRS, SFRS) as per IS standard.
• Development/trial / Implementation of Concrete Mix design for M10 to M55 (A 20) Grade concrete as per IS Standard.
• Testing of physical properties of fresh and hardened concrete.
• Conducting various related tests for different construction materials such as Soil, fine and coarse aggregates, cement, Re-Bar, water, Bitumen, Cement Capsule, Resin Capsule, WRA(Plasticizers & Super-Plasticizers), Accelerator, Micro Silica, Steel Fibre, Polypropylene Fibre, etc. as per relevant IS codes.
• Pretensioning and pullout test to check the anchorage or rock bolts at site.
• Preparing site Quality Assurance Plan, Material Testing plan, Inspection plan etc.
• Conducting pre- concrete inspection and ensure that form work, rebar and the concrete placing in accordance with approved drawing
• Check and Compilation of original QC documents and QC records periodically. Maintain all documents/records as per Quality Manual System Plan (QMSP) requirement.
• Conducting routine test on all incoming material to check the conformity of material with review of manufacturer testing certificate (MTC) as per our requirement.
• Dealing all quality related issues with clients / consultants / Planning & Monitoring &Co-ordination with various testing agencies.
• Interface / coordination with Project Procurement Manager, Discipline Engineer, site personals.
• Controlled of corrective preventive action and non - conforming product.
• Review and approve subcontractor's ITP (inspection and Test Plan), Method of Statement, and inspection procedures.
• Check the calibration of testing equipment and tools periodically.
• Performs other additional activities /miscellaneous duties as assigned by Manager/Site In charge.
• Recognize and respect local cultural issues.
