Assist in developing, implementing and reviewing all health and safety
related policies and procedures hospital wide;
Inspects hospital facilities, observing operations & activities, investigating
risk and safety complaints and ensuring that the hospital is in compliance
with ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001, JCI, ACHS, standards.
Ensures that the hospital complies with all environmental regulations
regarding hazardous substance handling, storage, usage & disposal
Investigates incidents/ accidents and write related statistical and analytical
reports
Review and analyze accident, near miss incidents, and making corrective
action recommendations & ensure proper adequate/ corrective actions
implemented to prevent a re-occurrence
Developing presentations & conducting health and safety trainings e.g.
Fire & Safety, Hazard Communication, Internal & External Emergency
Drills, Radiation Safety, Personal Protective Equipment.
Ensuring regular emergency response exercise and drills are conducted
to ensure the highest level of preparedness in emergency. Maintains
records of each drill & providing recommendations for emergency
response improvement
Preparing written weekly and monthly HSE reports, statistics and
presentations related to HSE performance
Assisting management in setting performance standards and carrying out
proactive & reactive monitoring when they have been implemented
Reviewing the HSE Regulations, procedures and guidelines
Maintaining the safety and security of the hospital
Providing assistant as requested by clinical staff in the care and safety of
patients, staff, and or visitors who are uncooperative.
Investigate reports of incidents to include theft, suspicious activity,
vandalism, personnel safety, patient related issues, and any other issue
that is important to the day to day operation of the hospital.
Steer calibration of all tools and equipment, acquiring certification by a 3rd party company. Direct implementation of
health/safety and environment system requirement as well as safety manuals. Execute health safety environment policy/plans
throughout the organization, administering risk assessment, HAZID, and JSA techniques relative to Oil & Gas in new projects
and modification. Lead personnel training at platforms and gas plants on escape on evacuation from hazard areas and
leveraging life-saving units. Develop specification of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing as well as safety
devices and fire equipment. Spearhead internal training pertaining to H2s awareness, fire drills, and emergency response.
Schedule HSE training program and in-house training, operating as an internal auditor.
Established company and projected QHSE objective and KPI, guaranteeing approval of all project HSE documentation prior
to mobilization to project work site. Oversaw HSE Plans, TRA, and COSHH analysis, formulating HSE procedures as per
project requirements.
Assessed and recommended training programs in adherence to HSE education courses (H2S, SCBA, PPE, PTW, Emergency
procedure). Coordinated with the HSE Policy and assure coherence with HSE Rules & Regulations by subordinates.
Orchestrated periodic inspections to identify unsafe working conditions and practices, proposing remedial recommendations.
Drafted periodic QHSE Audit and inspection plans, streamlining audits and investigation of accidents.
Interface between clients. regulatory bodies and other stakeholders, writing monthly HSE report, KPI and figures
Assisting in creating and updating all the safety and environmental
programs used within the company
Providing training to all staff members on safety and environmental related
programs
Performing all new hire orientation and training to ensure they are aware of
regulations and procedures.
Assist in developing and supervising plans to cover major emergencies or
disasters, ensuring all contingencies are covered.
Prepared and documented environmental health and safety incident
reports for management review.
Coordinating and conducting inspections of facilities and activities ensuring
compliance to safe and good work practice in accordance with statutory
requirement of the Factory and Machinery and all safety procedures
Ensuring that all new hires and existing employees receive required
training and orientations
Increase employees awareness and knowledge of EHS regulations and
policies through continues training.
Investigate incidents near misses occur within the refinery; identify causes,
records findings, and find out effective way of correcting such problem
Implementing safety plans, procedures and verifies that the inspections of
machinery and equipment used is in good conditions
Monitoring critical work activities that requires Permit-to-Work such as Hot
Work, Confined space and work at height
Updating the company Health, Safety and Environmental Policy,
Procedures, Regulations and objectives as they relates to his area of
responsibility while ensuring work under his control is performed in a safe
and environmentally sound manner.
Control regulations of safety, health and environment to minimized risk of
human loss and material damage
Plan-implement strategy for controlling hazards, reducing risk and applying
safe system
Providing technical advice to Senior Operation Managements on all
aspects of process Safety Management.
Share and coordinate provisions of safety and environmental training to all
staff to promote effective health, safety and environmental culture
