PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Demolition, dismantling, disposal of Electric & water plant, Ras Abu Fontas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Managed all new personnel upon arrival, instructing them on proper safety precautions and reporting procedures.
•Ensured safety operations for all personnel and provided detailed consideration of environmental hazards, exposure to chemicals and mitigation of risk.
•Instructed and supervised personnel on safety operational procedures, identification, processing and control measures of collecting chemicals and handling hazardous materials.
•Instructed employees on proper use and function of SCBA and air line respirator systems.
•Addressed safety needs to include additional fire extinguisher locations, the upgrade of specific units, and modified locations of safety showers on the plant's exterior.
•Established and implemented all training protocols and documentation.
•Supervise employees and contractors that work with our demolition/dismantling team and other departments pertaining to safety and environmental issues and regulatory compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:-
•Advice and foster the implementation of HSE plan in line with the company policy, procedures, standards & the requirement of the project.
•Conduct regular safety inspections, impact HSE training on safety subjects and emergency procedures and also monitor the effectiveness of mock drill and medical evacuation.
•Verify if safety precautions stipulated on permits to work, risk assessments and job safety analysis are being implemented.
•Uploading observations and close outs with photos (evidence) made by the PMC on the info-exchange website.
•Verify the third party certification for lifting gear, pressure vessels, electrical equipment etc, and making sure they are correctly color coded and being used properly.
•Liaise between Management and Staff on all matters relating to health, safety and environment to ensure consistent application and understanding of policies and procedures.
•Create and monitor a safer site traffic system with adequate signage, flagmen and barricades in all unsafe areas to avoid collision of equipment and workers.
