• Responsible for troubleshooting, provisioning, and administering all Cisco communication devices from Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) such as Cisco Codecs, IP Phones, and Desk Pro including Cisco applications such as Cisco Jabber and WebEx application.

Job Description:
Perform Preventive Maintenance of all communication equipment, hardware, and software, in Video Teleconference (VTC) Audio Visual System, VoIP, and Satellite Communication (Satcom) at the Ministry of Defense (MOD) Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Intelligence (C4I) System Program across the Kingdom.
My Roles and Responsibilities
• Perform Health Check Maintenance of Video Teleconference (VTC) equipment (Cisco) such as Codec, Multipoint Control Unit (MCU), and Telepresence Conductor (TPC).
• Perform Health Check Maintenance of Audio Visual equipment (Crestron) Matrix Switcher, Touch Panel, Table Tap, and Gooseneck microphone, HD Video Scalers, HD Video Transmitter, and Receiver, Projectors and Displays, AutoTrak Camera system, and Symetrix (Audio Dante).
• Wide Area Network (WAN) Local Carrier Service Provider (LCSP) and E1/E3 equipment status monitoring via Solarwinds, and Nagios.
• Satellite Communication (Satcom) network system monitoring and maintenance for Fixed Sites and Transportable Mobile Sites.
• Perform Operation and Maintenance of High Frequency (HF) Harris and Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Kongsberg radio.
• Installation of VoIP phone Cisco 7975 and registration to Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM).

Video Distribution & Display System (VDDS) Technician - Air Operation Center (AOC) Program Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) King Salman Air Base - August 2013 to March 2020

Job Description:
Maintaining and troubleshooting VDDS equipment such as AMX Matrix Switchers, Computer Work Stations, AMX Touch panel controls, Polycom Video Teleconference System (VTC), DLP multimedia projectors, HD video converters, and SMATV System in the Air Operation Center (AOC) Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Facility King Salman Airbase.
My Roles and Responsibilities
• Perform Preventive Maintenance Inspection (PMI) Daily, Weekly, and Monthly tasks.
• Carry out all maintenance duties by Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) manuals.
• Preventative maintenance visit - cleaning and replacement of filters and lamps of the projector, monitor lamps hours of the projectors, inspection of cables and connections.
• Perform Set up and installation of Video Teleconferencing System (VTC) Microphones and speakers, projectors, and Video Displays.
• Provide support to the installation & configuration of CCTV IP Cameras and NVR systems.
• Performs all routine maintenance required to ensure that hardware accessories AMX Touch panel controls, Video Splitter, Video Extender, and Video Interface of the VDDS systems are operating properly.
• New Installation and pulling of additional cables, Relocation, and Re-fixing of the AV equipment.
• Cable termination UTP cable CAT 5, 6 and STP cable using crimping tools
• Troubleshooting the faults for wiring and connection (LAN/ HDMI/ VGA and electrical.
• Perform the testing and evaluation of video equipment for system compatibility.
• Assist Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) with Training and perform maintenance duties by RSAF manuals.

Perform satellite dish installation and maintenance of satellite receiver decoder in IF and RF signal distribution system, Set up and operate, maintain and repair Audio Visual equipment used to enhance live events, such as microphones, video recorders, projectors, etc lighting and sound mixing equipment. Installing and maintaining CCTV systems.
My Roles and Responsibilities
• Install and align satellite dishes. Includes fine-tuning of feed horns and replacement of low noise block converters
• Proficient in setup and operation of headend equipment including but not limited to: signal processors, modulators, demodulators, satellite receivers, integrated receivers, digital receivers, and fiber optic receivers.
• Install and maintain audiovisual equipment including display devices, projectors, televisions, camera systems, microphones, and speakers.
• Setup and operate audiovisual equipment for training, presentations, meetings, and conferences.
• Repaired CCTV cameras on site, changed parts and components which broke down, and replaced them with new parts.
