To provide a complete range of Civil Engineering Services and Civil Asset Maintenance to ADNOC
Offshore Upper Zakum-Environmental Island Business Unit. UZEI is composed of four Islands namely Al
GHALLAN (Central), Asseifiya (South), Ettouk (North) & Umm Al Anbar (West) and the scope of services
includes: Projects civil engineering co-ordination and acceptance audit. Execution of studies,
modifications, and projects as part of an individual or as part of a team. Provision of preventive
maintenance scope of works for concrete systems. Supervise all civil and electromechanical repairs in
non-industrial areas, which are carried out by contractors. To ensure that all services provided are in line
and according to Industry & Company standards, practices and procedures. To identify ways and means
of continuously improving civil engineering service and extending the life of concrete systems and
maintaining the Civil Asset Maintenance Tracker.
Principal Accountabilities such as carrying out feasibility studies, conceptual, basic, and detailed
engineering for the assigned works including acquisition of data, and preparation of design calculations,
drawings, specifications, bill of materials etc.... Ensures that the design always complies with the
stipulated codes and standards. Develop and issue a statement of the requirement of the work. Prepares
the scope of work including all technical requirements for the preventive maintenance of the concrete
structures. Coordinates with other disciplined engineers on all aspects during the development of the
works to ensure conformity of engineering with users requirements. Provides technical advice and
solutions to a diversity of technical problems related to his discipline. Develops the scope of work for
engineering contractors/consultants for the projects and follows up the execution of basic & detailed
engineering. Reviews the updated technical drawings for the installations and ensures conformity of the
as-built status with the Design and Technical requirements. Prepare and update the cost estimates and
schedules for the in-house works. Provide technical support on all engineering aspects arising in Civil
Engineering during the construction phase of the works. Coordinate, plan and supervise all work orders
which will be carried out by contractors and ensure that all the required material is available. Assist in
budget preparation. Co-ordinates & discuss with work initiators/other departments and recommend
alternate methods of work execution for various purposes such as when required. Ensure proper
maintenance and availability of several non-industrial facilities including kitchen equipment, recreation
and utilities. Ensure onsite PTW Audits and Toolbox Talks and record the same. Monitor and develop UAE
Nationals.

Tasked with planning and conducting independent work, requiring the use of judgment to evaluate, select, apply, and adapt engineering techniques and procedures. Develop innovative solutions to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standard engineering practices. Coordinate efforts with other disciplines such as architectural, mechanical, and electrical. Conduct field activities including observing and recording current conditions, taking, and verifying measurements within the project area. Organize, draft, and oversee technical documents. Skilled and experienced in managing and executing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Works includes the following:
• Erection of steel structures for Pipe racks, Equipment platforms and Reactor Structure platforms.
• Erection of concrete pre-cast for the Main Pipe rack.
• Modification of Steel Structures for the latest drawing revision, wrong fabrication of structure members and any clashing with other structures
• Repairs and surface finish concrete pre-cast structure

The work includes the following:
• Well pad and Access roads preparation,
• Pipe crossing (Box Culverts) construction,
• Pipe Sleepers pre-cast/in situ and installation,
• Cable trench/duct bank excavation,
• Excavation for sand pit,
• Tank foundation construction,
• Earthworks (Cut/Fill),
• Pipe racks construction.

Carries out assigned construction tasks by planning, organizing, and controlling the activities; performing quality inspections; supervising subcontractors and staff; overseeing construction methods and works executed by the subcontractor according to the latest drawings and documentation; ensuring coordination and communication with other functions. Responsible for signing off permits and maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations. Checks and reviews quantity measurements from subcontractors for progress billing based on actual work completed in comparison to the BOQ, scope of work, and approved drawings.

The Project works includes the following works:
• Demolition of the existing facilities, utilities and underground services, existing concrete and asphalt breaking.
• Earth moving works at site including the following, clearing and stripping of vegetation and loose soil, cutting and filling of the existing ground level to designed level and removal of the contaminated soil to be properly disposed to an approved municipal dumping location.
• Construction of roads sub-base and granular/aggregate base coarse, laying of asphalt base coarse and wearing coarse,
• Construction of Stream box culverts,
• Construction of RCP pipe culverts and slope protection and
• Construction of new service utilities and duct banks.
• Repair the connection of the old refinery utilities (Brown Field) and road networks.

The Project works includes the following works:
• Demolition of the existing facilities, utilities and underground services, existing concrete and
asphalt breaking
• Maintenance checkup for the existing sewerage system, water system and drainage system
• Shutting down of lift stations for removal and installation of new high-capacity pumps
• Repairing cracks on concrete structures, touch-up paint if required.
• Road maintenance

QA/QC for the Construction and Maintenance of the Extension of existing Electrical Maintenance workshop, New A/C Maintenance workshop & New Instrument Maintenance workshop at admin camp. Work includes planning, organizing, controlling and execute all activities from design to hand over and commissioning. Preparing QA/QC Control Plan, Inspection and Test Plan and documented procedures.

The work includes the following:
• Demolition of the existing Maintenance facilities (Instrument, A/C and Electrical Workshop), utilities and underground services, existing concrete

QA/QC for the Civil Works in the Construction and Maintenance of Flow lines in North Kuwait Areas. My work includes checking of installation of pipe support foundation, pipe sleepers, fencing of manifolds and well heads, installation of crash barriers, excavation for underground pipelines, and backfilling of buried pipelines. Quality Control works for the construction and maintenance of flow line from well head, casing line, gas line, burnt off pit line, surface safety valve, above and underground pipeline to tie-in to existing line and jump over line. Preparing welds for visual, radiography, liquid penetrant/dye penetrant testing for interpretation. Control the flow of work from welding, non-destructive test, sandblasting, painting for above ground, coating (heat shrink sleeve for joints), holiday testing of pipeline, backfilling for underground, checking Dry film test for painting to pigging, water filling and hydro testing. Materials received is checked as per Kuwait Oil Standards and approved manufacturer list, availability of mill certificates, third party release note of approval, visual test and hydro testing for valves. Work includes the preparation of the daily inspection request for approval to KOC inspection team; daily, weekly and monthly report of works; handover documents and packages or construction dossiers as per Work Order

Design additional transmission/distribution pipelines within the service area of the water district with
pipes ranging from 50mmØ-600mmØ. Design a scheme for the rehabilitation of transmission/distribution
pipelines. Make Plan and Profile of the additional and rehabilitation pipelines. Design Pipe support and
prepare a structural analysis of the scheme and pipe support. Prepare a Bill of Materials as well as
Manpower and Equipment needed for the project proposal. Estimate the amount for Construction.
Prepare a Material, Manpower, Equipment and Construction Schedule. Construction Supervision during
Construction of approved Project Proposal.

Administration and maintenance work for the Maria Luisa Properties. Maintaining the Subdivisions Roads
and Utilities (Light, Water, Sewerages and Drainages). Assessed the existing water system of Maria Luisa
Properties for future water supply. Design water system for future subdivision development. Prepare
subdivision development plans for the properties of Maria Luisa Properties. Check plans for approval
based on the Deed of Restrictions of Maria Luisa Estate Park. Estimate the amount of Construction bond
to be paid by lot owners. Issue certificate for compliance with the Deed of Restrictions of approve plans
to owners. Monitoring and inspection at site are my responsibility during the construction of residential
house of lot owners as per approved plans. Schedule, monitoring and maintenance of each subdivision
like street cleaning, water system, streetlights and homeowners complaints. Manpower daily activities,
as well as the quality and quantity of the construction project progress is my responsibility.

SUBDIVISION

The quality and quantity of the construction project is my main responsibility including the preparation
of DAILY ACTIVITY REPORT, VOLUME COMPUTATION of the delivered rock materials and the DAILY
TIME SHEET OF WORKERS. I am responsible for the construction management, the delivery of materials
at site, the scheduling of construction work and monitoring of the Hopper Barge, Grab Dredger, Derrick
Lighter Barge, Tugboats, 125 tons Crane, Hydraulic telescopic truck mounted crane, Backhoe, and dump
trucks. I am responsible for the preparation of inspection data and request, the chain sounding of the
installed rock works and the monitoring of the rock quarry in the Kinabuksan Quarry site.

Quality and quantity inspection for projects. I am responsible for the preparation of PROJECT
DEVELOPMENT PROPOSALS/ FEASIBILITY STUDY and MASTER PLANNING, and the DETAILED
ENGINEERING DESIGN. I am responsible for the preparation of the Detailed Cost Estimates and their
Unit Derivation. I am responsible for the population and water demand projection. I am responsible in
the designing of a water system using LOOP PROGRAM. Conduct site visit for water resources study,
socio-economic survey and existing water supply system study. Assist and sometimes responsible for the
preparation of the water supply masterplan. I am responsible for the preparation of the DETAILED
ENGINEERING DESIGN drawings using Auto Cad program. I am responsible for the Printing of PLANS for
Construction.

Prepared PROJECT DEVELOPMENT PROPOSALS/ FEASIBILITY STUDY and MASTER PLANNING.
