- Respond to recruitment request and provide weekly, monthly and quarterly recruitment metrics
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment process including remote recruitment; develop candidate rosters, employ traditional sourcing strategies, actively network and employ innovative, creative recruiting methods to hire the best talent.
- Ensure all recruitment activities are carried-out in adherence to the required standards; understand any local labor laws affecting recruitment.
- Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with key global stakeholders internally and externally including country program HR staff and recruiters, Regional HR team, Partners, universities, peer agencies, and private sector.
- Promote the IRC brand as an employer of choice in the region, with a focus on creating awareness for IRC’s response to the Syria crisis.
- Expand the capacity of hiring managers and new HR or recruitment staff
- Conduct in-depth salary analysis to attract the highest caliber candidates and educate hiring manager on the compensation philosophy
- Develop a deep understanding of the IRC’s culture and values and align these with sourcing and attracting talent.
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain internal and external pipeline and roster of talent across all key areas and region.
- Utilize regional and international job boards, oversee social media initiatives and apply innovative sourcing methods to support recruiting objectives.
- Collaborate with international recruiters on dual-recruitment, pursuing national and expatriate candidate simultaneously for urgent positions
- Represent IRC at industry related career fairs, conferences, seminars
- Collaborate with local schools/universities to build a solid reputation to promote IRC’s open positions.
- Review and audit job descriptions to match with IRC salary scale requirements.
- Maintain personnel files ensuring timely and accurate records.

- Responsible for preparing and executing the manpower plan. Ensure that each plan is achieving the desired quality standard and identifying and understanding the recruitment's needs
- Facilitate on preparing and updating the Jobs Descriptions and participating in creating and implementing the job analysis process
- Publish and circulate vacancy announcement.
- Conduct initial shortlisting of applicants and participate in interviews (virtual and non-virtual interviews)
- Coordinating between various departments in charge of the recruitment through ensuring that the recruitment tools are ready and scheduling tests and interview with the relevant colleagues.
- Facilitate on establishing customize recruitment system addressed to applicants in Syria through building conceptualization mechanism on the best tools to be adopted in the light of local communities recruitment based approach, which reflect on increasing organization reputation
- Facilitating the recruitment process through ensuring that the potential candidates are being targeted effectively and recruiting candidates in a short notice with minimum lead-time for recruitment. Further, ensure that appropriate interview and assessment processes are circulated
- Contact applicant references and perform background checks
- Sending and negotiating the job offer with candidates, follow up with them.
- Ensure appropriate orientation and induction to all new employees on HR regulations and procedures. Further, helping new members to carry out allocated duties in accordance with organization's needs and objectives
- Participate in preparing and formulating HR procedures for Jordan and Syrian employees reflecting the needs and culture of Auranitis and Syrian local communities' that intensify the overall organization performance
- Responsible for advising and providing semi-training to HR employees in Syria, through explaining the HR policies, procedures, and legal compliance issues
- Recommending a new solutions to solve the issues related to resistant to change especially in Syria
- Responsible for collecting and analyzing human resources data, and provide advice to management as needed.
- Facilitate on establishing an electronic database of employees files
- Participate and facilitate on preparing HR strategy plan and ensure an adequate implementation of HR policies and procedures
Coordinate with HR personnel in Syria to facilitate all human resources functions
- Address any critical issues involving individuals and provide an appropriate action for resolution
- Facilitate on analyzing employees training needs through developing training needs assessment and analysis forms
- Participate in preparing HR budget to ensure that the minimum standards are exemplified within each grant and project
- Participating in the settlement of disputes or issues related to personnel management, and participate in investigations committee to provide the optimal solution depending on organization's rules and regulations
- Acting as liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and contracts regulations
- Ensuring that all necessary documents are provided/prepared/signed and added to the HR files according to internal procedure.
- Ensure that disciplinary procedures are respected and applied and that all disciplinary procedures are archived and keeping confidentiality of such procedures.
- Negotiate with the lawyer regarding employees contracts
- Writing and reviewing the employments' letters and contracts.
- Follow-up of employees’ affairs and their needs according to organization policy and labor law.
- Responsible for handling time attendance for employees and ensure abiding the official working hours
- Serving employees in issues related to health insurance
