• Control and manage international links backhaul networks agreements operationally end to end.
This includes Private/Public peering links, international backhaul links and Transit links.
• Ensure International links availability and diversity through constant capacity and assessments in
line with agreements and operating costs.
• Operate with a 24/7 team to present hands and Eyes for the submarine cable landing stations (3
locations in UAE) including the Marines and terrestrial backhaul and transit links.
• Monitor the key performance indicators (KPI) and manage documentations of the international
carriers’ agreements, reports etc.

• Handling the network operations tasks related to Wireless Technologies (Point to Point PTP OFDM
Transmission IP links and Wi-Fi IP unified wireless network). This includes administration, operation
& maintenance activities (corrective/preventive maintenance), analysis, reporting performance
management and trouble tickets handling with agreed service level agreement (SLA).
• Responsible for the configuration and troubleshooting of the unified wireless networks which
contains (but not limited to) WLC, MSE, Prime Infrastructure, AAA, Wi-Fi AP and Mesh/Bridge Wi-Fi
network. VoWLAN, mesh Wi-Fi network, wIPS, NCS maps, AAA, WLAN Security,
local/Flexconnect/Mesh modes, WLAN, clean air technology and deep knowledge of 802.11
a/b/g/n/ac/ax standards using Cisco, Nomad and Icomera platforms.
• Responsible for the configuration and troubleshooting for the wireless IP transmission Access
network (OFDM and microwave links) for leased corporate customers using Redline, InfiNet and
Huawei platforms.
• Coordinate with other technology teams to resolve network outages or customer complaint cases
related to wireless technologies, Access IP network and performance.
• Verifying and approving the tests and reports performed by outsource field teams and accept the
suitable network parts based on certain criteria.
• Responsible for the wireless network software patches and upgrades to resolve the wireless issues.
• Provide technical support, performance analysis and diagnosis for complex wireless network
deployments.
• To handle the analysis and discussions of wireless IP technologies (WLAN or OFDM PTP) related to
new projects and proof of concepts with other departments.
• Submitting and escalation of cases to TAC (L3 support) and follow up for resolution.
• Prepare manuals/MOP related to network procedures for any troubleshooting or network change
related to wireless Technology during maintenance window.
• Handling of Network KPIs, reporting and improving.
- -Support, manage and technical Lead for the wireless field operations team (consist of 10 Engineers) in the du managed service project and providing all the required to ensure achieving the targeted KPIs
- -Providing periodic weekly and monthly reports for the project manager about the progress of the project according to the main activities of the managed services project and handling the network KPIs and improving.
- Validate, evaluate and approve the final acceptance handover to network operations team for the new network elements and setup (Wi-Fi, OFDM and E-band RTN 380) implemented by du network design team and make sure its following the network standard.
- Handling the operation tasks including corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, performance management, analysis and reporting,
- Manage more than 3000 Cisco lightweight WiFi AP-802.11a/b/g/n/ac across Dubai (part of Dubai smart city project), 200 OFDM and E-band backhaul for leased corporate customers and guarantee network stability and performance on 24*7 within the agreed SLA.
- Co-ordination with different network operation teams (Fixed, Mobile, electromechanical) to meet the agreed SLA and solve the NOC assigned Trouble tickets (TT).
- Analyze the performance reports, alarm analysis and fault resolution via (Cacti, RMS, PRTG, Cisco Prime, WLC and Fleet manager) and take the needed action to resolve and optimize the wireless parameters and readings.
- Design, Implement and configure/integrate Juniper, Aruba, HP and Cisco WLANs but not limited to Wireless LAN controllers, Access points and access switches for campus and corporate environments (Outdoor and Indoor solutions).
- Troubleshoot WLAN and Network problems from both Radio (access) and IP sides.
- Create reports and documents for the projects including site survey reports, POC and BoQ reports.

Managed services project for Mobily-KSA,
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for L1 and L2 troubleshooting for the Mobily Core network nodes.
- Very good Knowledge on DPI (Deep packet Inspection) technology mainly in Cisco SCE8000 and SCE2000.
- Install, maintain and configure Cisco Systems devices, SCE8000, SCE2000, Cisco 7600, 6500, 3750 and 4989 switches.
- Perform SCE upgrad, downgrade and protocol signature upgrades in Mobily netowrk.
- Update inventory DBs based on any cnhange in Mobily core network.

- Supervise, manage and support all du BWA network corrective and preventive maintenance activities which includes PreWiMAX OFDM links (PTP/PMP) as a Last Mile and backhaul Connectivity options, Fixed WiMAX (RedMAX), du Public Wi-Fi data network.
- Leading the Team of the O&M/technical support for the Public Wi-Fi data services in Dubai Metro Trains network via 3G backhaul, which includes Cisco Lightweight Access Points (CiscoAironet1242 AP) integrated with 2 Cisco 6509-E as WiSM (with 8 WLC modules), Cisco WCS, Cisco WLC and NOMAD CCU’s R3500 series router which is installed onboard Dubai metro trains to guarantee VPN tunnel over the 3G network.
- Leading the Wi-Fi O&M team for du Public Wi-Fi data services network (Cisco/Ericsson Wi-Fi Autonomous AP's) which consists of more than 600 AP in the UAE (Corporate, Enterprise and Public) and perform Walk test procedures in order to enhance the du Wi-Fi data network coverage and capacity (RAN side), and manage the field teams for solving the tickets raised by the NOC
- Co-ordination with different network operation teams to meet the SLA and solve the assigned trouble tickets TT.

- O&M for the Dubai Metro Wi-Fi mesh network (Access side) which includes NOMAD CCU router R3500 series, Fleet manager and HA Unix based system, Cisco WCS/WLC and Cisco LWAP mesh IP AP (Cisco Aironet 1242 AP) -maintain, troubleshooting and reporting.
- Respond to the trouble tickets (TT’s) assigned by the NOC and take an immediate action/Advanced troubleshooting to close them within SLA.
