Reporting to VP sales, my responsibility RE;
o To strengthen customer service and logistics teams with constantly aiming to deliver highest level of services to our esteemed customers and to maximize company’s sales. Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
o Follow-up with monthly customer’s orders and assisting sales force for evaluation and finding new business opportunities with preparation of sales offers and quotations with all relevant information.
o In charge of attaining monthly sales targets by rationalizing distribution plans, streamlining production plans, stock allocations and submitting offers to sales team.
o Issuance of sales contracts and all documents relevant customer’s time to time need including shipping / commercial documents in efficient manner with agreed management strategy and Timeframe.
o Submission of gap analysis weekly report to supply planning and production team to expedite and prioritize production plans according to monthly sales targets.
o Keeping eye on slow moving inventory and promotion material and continuously liaising between the management and sales team to liquidate all depleted inventory. Follow-up with production and QC for inventory rework / job work requirements / completion.
o Submission of monthly forecast to demand planning after liaising with sales force and analyzing their monthly sales and sales target, evaluating foresee upcoming promotions/ events.
o Taking management approval and update system with offered / new prices.

Supply Chain Manager at My Perfume Factory LLC

o Closely coordinate with suppliers (Foreign & Locals) for best prices after negotiation, order fulfillment, production schedule, meet promise delivery date, documentation and product quality compliance to ensure smooth & on time supplies to factory.
o Continuous monitoring inventory levels, getting insight of actual demand by matching prior actual sales, gap analysis, taking reviews from sales persons, SOP meetings and foreseen promotions.
o PO validation & timely PO execution from local and external vendors. Establishing new vendors and negotiations with existing/new suppliers to get competitive prices and continuous quality improvement with efficient procurement policies while ensuring existence of alternate resources.
o Development of new products, bottle selection, cap / decoration / box / design selection and distributing specs sheets of all new products to all concerned stakeholders and liaising with QC / Customers / Management for specs finalization.
o Ensuring all new projects must be aligned with budgeted cost and all the RM must be collated JIT for production. All QC must be done before bringing material to SF for production. Reviewing and circulating cost sheets for management approval.
o Define consolidated shipment and design cost saving initiatives, this implementation help to reduce 12% logistics cost. Implement material flow systems to meet production requirements.
o Initializing registration process for all the products to be exported to respective country.
o Responsible for measuring the performance for the above affiliates by sharing OTIF scores to all the vendors and continuously maintaining vender’s database and monitor performance of team.
o Forecast management by splitting huge list of products into three major categories, total 3200 SKUs plus incorporating multiple number of private label projects every month.
o Keeping eye of every aspect of logistics activities to make sure cost competitive edge. Advising time to time on how to ensure minimal cost of logistics activities.
o Learning MM module in SAP, have recently implemented SAP and contributed in implementation of major modules including data standardization.
o Contacting supplier for non-conformance and follow-up processes. Reverse logistics or else getting subsidies from suppliers for reworking cost.

The group spread over Middle East, Europe, North America, Latin, Far East, South Africa, and South Asia. Manufacturing units are in U.A.E., South Africa and India. Our extensive network of exclusive distributors ensures that our products reach over 60 countries. My portfolio includes:
o Approving budgeted freight for all the exports, follow-up and analyzing monthly freight comparison from all expeditors / freight forwarders. Key contacts with logistics industry players, highly proficient in freight analysis and able to reduce freight cost by 14% by continuous negotiating with forwarders in 2013/14.
o Accountable for shipping documents to be dispatched on time to all GCs and there should be no demurrage (0%).
o Supervising load plan / container load accuracy and efficiency min. 95%.
o Responsible for correct BL details and EDI passed to for exports. Municipality/ MOH approval, inspection approval, customs clearance and transportation of import containers.
o In charge of reverse logistics and issuance of accurate credit note.
o Supervise & ensure all monthly GCs dispatches complete smoothly to meet as per monthly forecast, minimum 90% by value. To ensure dispatches are made as per budgeted forecast and in line with credit terms. Conducting GAP analysis and executing appropriate actions.
o To ensure MTOs / time bound orders get executed to meet 100% service level (CCFOT) with respect to time, quantity & quality /specs by working closely with production, QC, warehouse, shipping lines, clearing agents and transporters.
o Supervising order processing, approving proforma invoices, production follow-up, dispatches and billing of private labels (Yardley, Royal Mirage, Enchanteur, Fogg, Eskinol, PDC, Dabur, Vivalis & Godrej)
o Follow up with private labels for their receivables at the time of placing POs and dispatches.
o Ensure periodic pending orders updates (production plans) to all the customers and upon enquiry.
o Follow-up on launch of NPDs and annual gift sets program from order booking till dispatch to our GCs and ensure all NPD samples are getting dispatch to GCs with information.
o Circulation of non-moving / slow-moving inventory to all the GCs from time to time for promotions, liquidation and seasonal (peak times) selling. SLOB should not be excess of maximum 15% of total inventory value.
o Provide assistance to team members whom are experiencing difficulties in the discharge of their duties by putting them through and giving them personal coaching.
o Develop base demand of UAE wholesale and retail plus collating sales forecast from group companies. Relating and measuring the impact of forecast accuracy by reviewing historical sales trends. Continuously improving forecasting techniques by unifies data integrity, eliminate redundancy. Uploading group companies (GCs) forecast, open stock and GIT data in ERP after scrutinizing. Reviewing ERP messages after running DRP-1 and apply appropriate action.
o Streamlining inventory management for respective inventory targets by evaluating monthly forecast results MAPE - Forecast should be with minimum 80% accuracy level as score card.
o Contributing in financial budgeting by providing next twelve months sales forecast to management.
