Leading a team of fourteen Engineers, Provision of professional safety discipline to the program projects with particular emphasis on the safety and fire requirements of all RC and Saudi Aramco projects (i.e. High voltage New Marjan BSP, Expansion of Shedugm KV etc.…)

responsibilities:
• Planning, Implementing and maintaining comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on-premises and at respective project sites.
• Leading the monthly safety committee meeting, representing the statistics for Safe man-hours, occupational injuries, and accidents with Department Managers, and company officials.
• Provide project management team with guidance on occupational health and safety compliance and ensure the workplace complies with organization, legal and KSA guidelines & regulations.
• Focused Audits on construction sites in order to perform a gap analysis, developing corrective action reports and suitable plans to overcome the shortfalls in OHS compliance.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct drills and exercises to enhance preparedness for potential emergencies.
• Lining up contractors with ISO OHS management system implementation and ISO Environmental Management System.
• Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for employees to promote awareness and ensure compliance with safety protocol.
• Leading the incident investigations, identifying the underlying cause and root cause for incident instances.
• Developing a loss prevention plan while setting the targets, emergency procedures, checklists, incident analysis, and action plan with additional control measures.
• Performed hazard Identification studies (HAZID, HAZOP), and hazard analyses.
• Created and compiled safety training procedures into manuals to disseminate to staff members.

Assigned to multiple projects (SS-OHTL-UGC) Mainly Identifying and correcting potential hazards by inspecting facilities, machinery, and safety behavior. Evaluate the effectiveness of various industrial control mechanisms.

Responsibilities:

• Enforce applicable laws and SEC regulations to work processes.
• Provide consultation to different departments on safety issues.
• Chairing the contractor committee meeting raising concerns with the project management team for non-compliances, essential training, and resource allocation.
• Accomplished approx. 70+ Audits for various contractors, focused on key issues, and reports periodically to regional management and HSE Manager.
• Facilitate screening of workmen and conduct HSE induction training for all employees and visitors.
• Setting the fire prevention and protection plan, with an adequate number of fire detection/fighting devices installed at the workplace.
• Ensure implementation and compliance with Rigging and Heavy Equipment Lifting Program requirements at the field.
• Excavations, works at height, confined spaces, and LOTO safe system of work applications and training provisions among the workforce.
• Record, analyze, and cascade lateral learning points from injuries, first aids and Near Miss Cases.
• Performs construction site and area safety inspections of department facilities and operations. Performs job site safety compliance inspections including hazard analyses and safe work procedures, and prepare written reports and recommendations.
