Payroll unit Group leader
I have been working for the past years with the Payroll & Benefits Division (P&BD) at Saudi Aramco, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. I was involved with the SAP HR Payroll implementation project which was rolled out in January 2005.
Since January 2005 until the present time, I have been one of the primary technical and functional consultants on the Payroll Configuration & Tax Team. This has been a very challenging and fulfilling experience due to the nature and size of the payroll for Saudi Aramco that has been implemented on SAP.
•Participated in the implementation of Saudi Armco’s SAP/Payroll project and Going Live in January 2005.
•I have been providing major enhancement support for Saudi Aramco’s SAP Payroll system since it’s Go-live. This included: collecting the requirements from users, writing High level design for the requirements and implementing the enhancements in the SAP Payroll System.
•Enhancement of Saudi Aramco GOSI calculations to include re-hired employee.
•Involvement in designing of the Ramadan bonus payment.
•Have been selected as a QA member for the Saudi Riyal Thrift Plan (SRTP) and Home Ownership Financial System (HOFS) when these two system were being converted to SAP throughout 2006.
•Support of the monthly and weekly payroll runs for Saudi Aramco (on the on call list).
•Enhancement of US payroll drive by writing custom user function and operation to apply Saudi Aramco requirements
•Configuration of Wage types such as: creating new wage types and configuring them
. Project Manager for SAP time management enhancement to apply recording for over time on Saudi Aramco Portal
Lead a Project to automated overtime recording thru Portal web
•Worked as SAP technical consultant for National petrochemical Industrialization Co. in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
•Worked together with Wipro’s Consultants for Implementation of SAP for National petrochemical Industrialization Co. in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
This project was done in two individual stages.
1-First Phase: implemented HR, FI, PS and MM modules.
2-Second Phase: implemented PP, PM, QM, and SD modules.
3-Participated in SAP Go-live in November 2003.
I was also involved in SAP Upgrade Project from version 4.6C TO 4.7 (ERP).
