Overall responsibility and management for the delivery of over 200 km of tracks and conductor rail system within revenue lines (tunnel, elevated and at-grade) and non-revenue lines (depot and stabling yards) including 20 km of heavy mass spring system and over 200 switches

Safeguard employer requirements and ensure completeness and correctness of contractor design. Manage internal and external interfaces between project scope and future metro contracts and third parties current and future projects. Monitor permitting, approval and coordination with local authorities/utilities including development of railway specific procedure for Civil Defense Department. Liaise and manage land acquisitions. Manages; initiates, prepares, and presents addenda for consultant assignments. Identifies the need for design alternatives or value engineering opportunities. Reviews and evaluates DB contractor studies, design, proposals, and specifications for compliance with Employer requirements, procedures and standards, and any other applicable industry guidelines or practices.

Overall management and technical direction for the geotechnical business line in the Prairies and western Ontario. Managed groups up to 50 professionals, plan workload and staff assignments, monitor chargeability and staff utilization, conduct performance review, mentoring and training needs assessment. Strong experience in all phases of project life cycle from pre- purchase, pre and after award negotiation, scope definition, planning, execution and close out. Successfully completed/participated in numerous projects of different scope and size and completed assignments on time within budget. Leadership of project teams to develop design concepts, establish design criteria, adopt design approaches and methodologies, assess constructability and prepare tenders, and setup contract/site administration practices
