Key Responsibilities:
• Heading the S&OP meetings with other stake holders to discuss products supplies dates & critical product supplies
• Conceptualizing the development of purchasing department plan which delivers key target objective; managing department, staff, protocols, disciplines and processes

• Managing and finalizing contractual agreements with suppliers and post agreements as purchase orders on the ERP system for further processing of timely payments
• Qualifying new suppliers for the process and to maintain record of active supplier and evaluation on performance
• Diversifying the active suppliers for maximum benefit while negotiating availability of products and the most suitable time for delivery
• Monitoring and verifying employee attendance, sick leaves, vacation, overtime and performance (company Employee)
• Managing employees, Individual Objectives, and evaluating every 3 month and at the year end and creating employee skill matrix and providing training to improve skills and productivity.
• Curtailing extra costs that can be avoided like eliminating risky suppliers, choosing the best service provider, material transportation
• Maintaining coordination with planning department for pre-setting on frequent re-orders, lead times & minimum order quantities
• Motivating and supporting team members in accomplishment of objectives; improving the team performance through counselling, skills enhancement
• Negotiating with potential suppliers on the provision of the required products on the right time with the best possible prices and service.
Highlights:
• Radically reduced the turkey breast cost by 66% reflecting on finished goods increased profit of high margin product over 8 years
• Proactively participated in the setting up the ERP system with regards to purchasing process (purchase requisition, purchase order, lead time, MOQ)
• Tremendously improved OTIN (on time in full supply) from a target 83% up to 98%; 14 employee’s computers, 5 in purchasing of materials and 4 in port clearance division, indirectly responsible on 5 services purchasers, communications, teamwork and skills
• Reduced absenteeism from 52% per to 22% per year by significant efforts in achieving least risky suppliers monthly to become 1 when it was 4 risky suppliers in delivery results monthly
• Instrumental role in developing the lead time and the minimum order quantity standards to reduce the storage space; system by adding the SLA with departments Finance, marketing, production and supply chain

The project to establish new department stores. The major activity was to recruit personnel, furnish the store, connect with local suppliers to arrange products supplies. managing the whole process of warehousing, logistics, government relations.

Monitor sales performance against last year, last week and budget on a daily and weekly basis and to give feedback to managers and also to communicate to staff.
Ensure accurate stock merchandise and management (stock ageing, stock loss, space management, stock availability, order management, back store management, stock movement within store) within the store.
Oversee cash transaction entry and management (petty cash, POS cash elements, change floats). Regularly audit own store administration and resolve any issues.
Maintain a high level of store health and security for company assets, cash, stock and customer property
Ensure seasonal peaks, important trading/promotional events are taken account of when.
Ensure store expectations and priorities are communicated to staff, Review and provide regular feedback on staff’s performance against expectations, Carry out regular and relevant in-store training and enroll staff on relevant Learning and Development
Support induction of new recruits through buddy system, Monitor staff welfare (staff accommodation and transport) and facilitate complaint resolution, Oversee staff development and drive motivation levels of the store associates.
On the English Language achieved 94% on grade, I had very well training from tutors with mother English language who were impressed about my performance, and had several marks on English literature with higher than the total marks as there was bonus mark questions. Achieved high grade in translation subject. In computer science as minor I achieved the 80% mark on the first attending term on the logic gates subject where the other colleagues have repeated the subject several times. The combination of the 2 subjects of English and computer was discontinued by the university after my graduation, since the combination between art and science was matter of conflict specialties to the university administration.
