• Establish from scratch the MENA Business Sustainability department in alignment
with organizational goals
• Acquire and build systems for relevant environmental certifications such as ISO14001
for different EY offices in MENA
• Report on carbon emissions across scope 1, 2 and 3 for all EY MENA offices to the
Global firm
• Establish and strengthen ESG practices within the 30 EY MENA offices, ensuring
cross-department and service line collaboration
• Implement new sustainability projects within offices which resulted in cost savings

for individual EY offices
• Represent EY MENA Business Sustainability within relevant local and regional
settings
• Lead environmental sustainability corporate responsibility initiatives across MENA
region
• Develop partnerships with different organizations across MENA and maintain
strategic stakeholder engagement and relationships
• Regularly assess and monitor environmental performance of all EY MENA offices
against the set targets
• Work in close collaboration with EY Global to enhance Business Sustainability and
ESG at EY MENA
• Achieved three promotions across ranks, moving from Assistant Manager to
Assistant Director and then to Associate Director

• Oversee and contribute to decision-making at the board level on partnerships and
collaborations
• Manage and advise on sponsorship opportunities at Salam Animal Welfare Group

• Plan, organize and lead CSR/ESG & environment events & exhibitions on green buildings, sustainable supply chain, employee engagement, sustainable services and products, etc
• Lead and organize campaigns with CRB member companies, manage reporting back of campaigns, and develop reports with the results
• Develop content for publications including toolkits, best practice publications, and checklists on green buildings topics (indoor environmental quality, retrofitting buildings into green buildings, solar energy)
• Develop and manage an online portal to facilitate all programs of the CRB
• Manage communications with private companies regarding finances towards membership at CRB programs
• Manage and lead task forces with the UAE business community related to environment, CSR & sustainability
• Manage and re-develop CSR Al Youm Magazine
• Manage and collect data for the bi-annual CSR Survey of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and write Research reports of the findings
• Conduct, write, and publish research that studies the Dubai Chambers in its employees’ waste segregation behavior, waste management practices at the organizational level, and HSE building inspections
• Develop and maintain major databases for the department
• Assess companies for the prestigious Dubai Chamber of Commerce CSR Labels in its Environment, Community, Workplace and Marketplace categories
• Develop and manage an ESG Certification Program and implement it for the business community in Dubai
• Work with different government organizations and develop and enhance partnerships and sign MOUs
• Nominated and represented different sectors and departments in several committees such as the Innovation Ambassadors, HSE, DGEP, Excellence Coordinators, and Information Security committees
