- Managed the operations of two Acid Gas Removal Plants including amine treating (2 x 230 MMSCFD), Liquid-Liquid treating (2 x 40 MBPD) and Sulfur Recovery (1080 t/day total)
- Acted as interim Team Leader for NGL and Acid Gas Removal since 2016.
- Acted as Interim Section Head for NGL Recovery Unit since 2016.
- Led the commissioning of New Acid Gas Removal Unit at MAA refinery during COVID-19,
thus doubling the sour gas & condensate processing capacity at MAA refinery.
- Directed operations teams of up to 150 Engineers & Operators,
- Implemented inventory management techniques to optimize the supply of chemicals,
achieving significant cost savings.
- Achieved 30+ months of continuous operation, demonstrating unit reliability and efficiency.
- Spearheaded training for new unit commissioning.

- Led the execution of 40+ plant modifications, which resulted in a reduction of SO2 emissions
from 3000+ ppm to less than 500 ppm.
- Directed 5 overhauls and shutdowns, enhancing unit operations.
- Improved SRU condensers’ reliability, thus eliminating any tube leaks since 2015.
Improved plant sour gas throughput by 10+% annually from 2014 to 2017.
- Developed feedforward control for TGT, enhancing environmental performance.
- Revised TGT procedures, aligning with KEPA limits (250 ppm SO2).
- Developed an Aspen HYSYS model to predict amine unit performance.
- Participated in over 50 Root Cause Analyses using multiple methodologies (using GE Meridium, Apollo RealityCharting, 5-Whys analysis, etc...) in multiple process units, resulting
in improved reliability.
