Currently working as Audit and Assurance lead at one of the fast-growing Chartered Accountant firm in Pakistan. The engagements include audits, financial valuations, selected opinions, financial reviews, and other varied assignments.
Fayyaz has worked as head of internal audit department. He reported to Board of directors through audit committee on operational and financial audit subjects. He was actively involved in internal control development and risk assessment reviews. He developed new internal audit manual and obtained approval of the board for manual and internal audit plans. Fayyaz also served as secretary to Audit Committee. Fayyaz was nominated as member of manual development committee to review and prepare new policy and procedural manuals for PMDC. Fayyaz assisted management in identification and development of new business plan. The business development team coordinated with internal audit department for relevant factors and key assumptions to be used in new business plan.
Fayyaz is a Senior Manager Audit and Assurance in Deloitte Pakistan and has more than 11 years of national experience in versatile industries. The main sectors include telecommunication and technology, financial services and banking, and oil & gas and energy. His areas of expertise include controls assurance review, internal controls and risk assessment reviews, IT General Control reviews and fraud risk assessment related to internal /external auditing.
He is well versed with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs). He has also participated in the training/ workshop conducted by various international donors on “Public Financial Management Risk assessment framework”. Fayyaz also attended international training and workshops in Malaysia and Thailand.
Fayyaz is supervising audit engagements in telecommunication, Oil and Gas and development sector. Besides audit services, Fayyaz is actively involved in providing Entity Risk Services (ERS) to various clients.
He conducted several assignments in Pakistan with International Donors, Provincial Governments and Federal Government. Fayyaz also supervised a donor funded programme in 15 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. His work with Federal and Provincial Governments focused in education, health and construction sectors.

Posted as Senior Manager CMC on February 17, 2009 to establish and manage the Credit Management Centers in five Telecommunication Regions ITR, RTR, NTR-1, NTRII and HTR. The main function of this new department is to pursue and recover the amounts from Doubtful debtors. \n \nWorked as Manager Budget Control Business Zone North in PTCL. My job responsibilities were preparation of Budget for Business Zone North, variance Analysis, analysis of Monthly Expenditure Report of different regions, Review of WLL Reconciliations of different regions \n \nAlso worked on FICO Module of SAP
Worked as Senior Accountant Finance in Finance Department of Oil and Gas Development Company. Limited. My job responsibilities were coordination with external and internal auditors, reporting and analytical requirement of Revenue and Receivables. I worked on receivables, payables, budget inquiry module and management information system modules of Oracle Financials

The responsibilities on the job were supervision of physical stock taking, reconciliation of financial record with stock card balances and physical balances, preparation and submission of final stock lists and final reports.
