Owner and Managing Director at Emirates German Building Materials
  • United Arab Emirates - Dubai
  • February 2014 to June 2015

I have inherited a difficult business from my Father the late Salim Naser. The business was a building materials company that acts as a distributor for three major German Building Materials Manufacturers. Pfeifer, Jordahl and H-BAU.

In that period:
1) I have hired a transition operations team.
2) Kept the company running and secured group of new projects and orders.
3) Kept the suppliers (Pfeifer, Jordahl and H-BAU) in the house.
4) Positioned the company for a successful exit.

As it was clear that this type of business is not my cup of tea, in a time where construction market and payments are being put on hold, I have positioned the company for a successful and strategic business exit after long negotiations with three major construction groups. Successfully, Sold the company to Ammar Al Kadi Group who has close relationships with Mohammed Hamad Al Mana Group.

Now, the company is fully operational through the staff that I have hired however, under different ownership.
