• Assist in estimating and compiling a competitive bid to secure work.
• Main point of contact for all commercial briefings, issues, risks, processes and procedures related to the contract;
• Establish and maintain the contractual compliance processes and procedures, identifying non- compliance issues and supporting their resolution.
• Monitor, manage and/or mitigate commercial risks. Advising on risks, impacts and mitigating actions. Resolve issues in a timely manner and when necessary escalate. Proposing approaches/solutions with regard to disputes;
• Ensuring that the key resources are fully aware of their contractual obligations and of the commercial impacts of their actions
• Maintaining a positive business relationship with the client’s contract management team.
• Responsible for compiling method statement and site specific risk assessments
• Provide safety information to the site teams and actively reinforce the safety policy requirements.
• Discussing project targets and assessing variations during pre-start meetings prior to project start date. Ensuring project targets are met in budget to the employer and clients.
• Manage the site delivery of several projects in a safe, planned manner to achieve a quality product within the time allowed, satisfying the client's expectations, and maximizing the financial return to the business.
• Manage the client relationship and ensure that all contractual responsibilities and project targets are met (financially & on production)
• Assist with design issues
• Check work quality and ensuring works are carried out according to architect’s drawings prior & during production minimizing risk of money wasted due to design issues.
• Ensuring house keeping is carried out by operatives, maintaining a clean site and minimizing health & safety risks.
• Production meetings held with site managers to ensure targets are met and work is carried out in accordance to the contractor’s satisfaction
