Responsibilities:-
• Conduct safety training to the crew on H2S safety and donning/doffing of breathing apparatus
• Installation, testing and commissioning of Fixed and wireless Gas detection Systems according to the client requirement’s
• Conduct toolbox meeting and preparing PTW prior to rig up/rig down operations.
• Conduct gas test prior to enter the confined space.
• Conduct H2S and Fire emergency drills with evacuation scenario.
• Maintains ALL relevant records on site for reference e.g. Daily activities, Equipment Inventory, Calibration Records, Equipment testing, Equipment Maintenance, communications, etc.
• Identifying the near miss and unsafe activities and advice the management/workers to eliminate or control the risk to an acceptable level.
• Prepares daily field report and submit to Client and MIS Sunbelt Office.
• Attends and Participate on Rig Safety Meetings.
• Perform Air Quality Test (AQT) for breathing air in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Design, Installation, Commissioning of Breathing Air Cascade System for onshore and offshore Drilling Rigs and supporting vessels.
• Developing Safety Procedures / Checklists for H2S Safety Equipment’s.
Provide on arrival safety induction to the visitors with general safety rules in the workplace and H2S safety training to the rig crew.
•Perform Daily/weekly inspections for the safety equipment’s and submitting report to the client.
•Conduct toolbox meeting and preparing PTW prior to rig up/rig down operations.
•Help the rig management to implement ADCO and NDC Health and safety rules.
•Conduct H2S and Fire emergency drills with evacuation scenario.
•Identifying the near miss and unsafe activities, and advice the management/workers to eliminate or control the risk to an acceptable level to avoid the recurrence.
•Conduct gas test prior to enter the confined space.
•Being an active participant in safety meetings.
•Setting up and monitoring of wireless gas detection equipment.
•Planning and organising rescue in the event of an H2S emergency
•Conduct survey, installation, testing and commissioning of Air loop system, Fixed Gas detection and breathing apparatus.
•Closely coordinates with drilling supervisor with the daily activities and program pertaining to H2S Safety

Perform the installation of Fixed Gas detection system on the rig site by installing Sensors, Monitors, Alarms, Flash Light and Repeater Panel.
•Monitoring wireless gas detection system installed at the perimeter of the Rig.
•Conduct training for the peoples in basic H2S awareness and SCBA donning/doffing at the rig.
•Perform the installation of Breathing Air Cascade System, Compressor, Air Manifolds, Low Pressure and High Pressure Hoses as per Saudi Aramco Standards.
•Maintain daily contact with Company Man, reporting on status of equipment readiness, maintenance performed, and drills or training completed that day.
•Troubleshoot the system in the event of failure.
•Conduct the H2S drill; inspect H2S gas with hand held gas monitors.
•Conduct gas test prior to enter the confined space.
•Observe the worker activities and giving advice on unsafe practices
Continually observes and controls station equipment, such as current converters, voltage transformers, and circuit breakers
•Switches and maintains substation equipment for proper operation
•Records readings of switchboard instruments to compile data concerning quantities of electric power used for substation operation and amounts distributed from station
•Maintains daily operating log on all operations, both routine and emergency,
•reports on line outages and weather conditions
•1st responder to trip outs, oil spills and equipment failures. Isolate the hazards and set up safe zone areas
Design layout of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures in Electric CAD
•Install & test wiring, appliances & fixtures
•Inspect electrical systems to identify defects and the need for repair / maintenance
•Maintaining good professional relationships with suppliers and contractors.
•Maintain all safety and quality control project standards
•Assigned responsibilities of supporting electrical engineers In installing electrical equipment at different work stations
