Enquires, RFQ, Specification Analysis of Electro-Mechanical Equipment’s:
•Ability to read, interfere the customer specification, datasheet, drawings, commercial & technical aspects in order to fabricate our quote cent percentage timely & accurately.
•Dealing with mainly Fire Pumps, Foam Pumps, Booster Pumps & also various Application pumping systems.
•Well familiar with Horizontal Centrifugal Pumps (Split case & End Suction), Vertical Turbine Pumps, Vertical Multistage Pumps and Submersible Pumps.
•Fair Knowledge in Pump drivers (Electrical: TEFC, ODP, VHS, WP Motors; Diesel: Radiator Cooled, Heat Exchanger Cooled), Control panel modules - starting methods (Start Delta, Soft Starting, Auto Transformer Starting, Primary Resistance Starting, Across the line starting, etc.), Electrical Components Enclosures: NEMA Standards, IP Standards.
•Basic engineering knowledge in Fluid Mechanics, Solid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Hydraulics of Machinery to understand the pumping theory.
•Application Engineering, Estimation, Cost Analysis:
•Techno-commercial bid preparation which involves, review the Project specifications, pump data sheets, process sheets, Applications Engineering, vendor document review, Inspection and testing requirements etc.
•Maintaining database for the pricing, Supplier information’s & their product dealing records.
•Contact appropriate factories and sub-suppliers for support Preparation of complete offer.
•Selection and pricing of pumps, drivers, controllers, accessories and preparation of offers for customers.
•Matching the selection on according to NFPA 20, UL/FM & Local Civil Defense protocol.
•Preparing & submission of pre-qualification, Submittal, Reply to Comments, Compliance Statement, etc. & other project requirements for customer to obtaining approval.
•Preparing Electrical & Mechanical Load schedule for the Fire Pump set based on DEWA, SEWA (Civil Defense requirements). Also, assisting in NPSH, Exhaust Back Pressure, etc., calculation.
•Achieve a target of 100% on-time submission of offers and meet the department objective.
•Technical Support to Direct Customer, Sales & Marketing Team, Branch offices & Distributor’s:
•Achieved the best sales and technical support to all end-users, and all our internal & external teams.
•Participated in Technical discussion with Client, Consultant & Contractors to freezing of projects.
•Handle customer complaints and provide timely feedback and progress reports to the customers.
•Prompt acknowledgement & response of Customer enquiries and queries.
•Spare Business:
•Good knowledge of spare parts to the dealing equipment’s.
•Doing spare business quotes to customer based on the actual requirement.
•Sales Order, Purchase Order Processing:
•Review POs and ensure clean order entry in the business system involving contract review procedure.
•Process Purchase orders, Contract Review and ensure compliance to the proposal.
•Transfer the offer to Sales Order and follow the Order up to hand-off to customer.
•Ensure 100% “Clean orders” which shall contain all relevant data for the Operations / Procurement team to process the order without any delay.
•Liaising with Internal, External Authorities & Departments:
•Liaise with Engineering, Manufacturing, Dispatch and Finance departments to ensure safe and timely delivery of products at customer sites and check whether statutory requirements are compiled.
•Supporting Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing Departments with proper forecasting of Material requirements, Technical support while vendor negotiation, priority setting while manufacturing.
•Providing periodical feedback to Product development team in order to upgrade & launching of new product in the market.
•Fair knowledge about shipping terms, commercial invoice, QC of equipment’s, inventory and trading.
To study the MEP site drawings and execute in site.
•Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports on according to requirements in site.
•Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost and maintenance requirements.
•Provided all safety equipment’s and instruments that are needed for safety success running of site.
•To coordinate with civil engineering team and other team members to achieve the target with in the given span of time.
•Establish and coordinate the EHS (Environment Health and safety) department to ensure the safety of all the employees working in the site.
