I was responsible about programming, installing and maintaining Ericsson switching systems.
I was also involved with Fiber Optics projects, as project leader. Planning for fiber optics projects, monitoring, testing and reporting.
I graduated with GPA 3.71 out of 4, I was the second on my class. My graduation project got awarded from King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB) and funded by King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD). The project was about a new system to be installed in the restaurants (environment where ordering service is required), the project name is Electronic Customer Service for Restaurants (ECS-R), and it was an embedded device with PIC microcontroller, Graphical LCD, keypad and wireless unite. This device can be on the table where the user displays an electronic menu to select the order, after finishing the user can review his order and then send it, E-Server will receive the order through wireless network, the order will be split and sent to the kitchen's parts, get prepared and then collected and sent to the customer. My team and I, we designed a prototype of this project and we presented it for the KADDB where the adopted the idea and got funded by the KAFD. A future vision for this project is to be able to pay the bill through the device using credit cards, also to add advertisements that can be displayed for the customer while waiting for the order to be prepared.
