• Phase 2 project is mixed use development buildings with residential, Hotels, Mosque, Supermarkets, Office and Retails shops in the ground floor.
• Total connected load of around 13MW, with all buildings sharing common basements of six levels with parking and service corridors.
• Phase 2 project Consists of 11 buildings with 10 sub stations and 18 LV panels, 5 Generators with ratings 2250KVA, 1250KVA, 1000KVA, 18 Nos of Transformers with ratings 2000KVA, 1500KVA, 1000KVA, feeding from 11kV HV panels
• All LV panels’ incomers are Bus Bar feeders from transformers with appropriate ratings.
• Each buildings have dedicated Transformers, CBS, UPS, FAS, BMS, FPS, shared Generators and other MEP interfacing systems for life safety, Energy Management and sustainability.
• Responsibilities involves mainly in project engineering and Testing Commissioning activities
• Preparation of daily work activities sheet with risk assessment for HSE and issuing to all site Engineers and supervisors for man power allocation and work planning
• Preparation of manpower schedule and planned work completion dates for the management review to decide on manpower requirement or reduction.
• Follow up for the material with the procurement department and material control section Engineers.
• Preparation of site activities work progress sheet for management review
• Assisting the planning Engineers for weekly updating of the work in the KPI.
• Regular site walks and meetings with Senior project manager, Engineers, Sub contractors for the review and progress of works.
• Involvement in LOTO, PTW, and Energisation permit preparations and coordination with safety department for proper HSE regulations.
• Coordination for LV panel REF test, contact resistance test, insulation test, Hi pot test, labelling of LV panels and cables prior to temporary energisation of LV panels
• Coordination with Kahramaa contractor for the approval for LV wiring and substation approval (from kahramaa) prior to the Power ON process with comments for LV rooms, LV panels, CT meters, bus bar connections.
• Coordination with the LV panel supplier and bus bar supplier for the end connections and modifications required as per the site condition
• Coordination for the test procedures before the energisation of bus bar such as Insulation test, continuity test contact resistance test and torque test.
• Coordinates with the transformer supplier during the kahramaa inspection for the transformer installation approvals and LV wiring inspection approval for final HV panel terminations.
• Test sheet preparation and inspection with consultant for DB/SMDB live test, MCC panels functional testing, sequence of operation of all equipment with fire alarm, CO sensor, BMS system, VFD operation, and its settings.
• Have participated in the Civil defence inspection and ensure proper functioning of sequence and controls of MCC panels and damper controls etc.
• Carry out additional works at site in MCC like installation of relays, contactors for temporary energisation of panels for mechanical pump/Fan start up for partial Civil defence approvals.
• Coordination with safety department for the implementation of LOTO procedure required before the energisation of all live activities.
• Test sheet preparation and inspections with consultant for lighting control system, Generator testing, ATS operation central battery system, battery test, lux level, UPS system,
• Preparation of method statement for all Electrical systems for consultant review, comments and final approval.
• Co-ordinate schedules, report the testing and commissioning progress schedule with the Commissioning Manager.
• Communicate efficiently between the drafting team and the construction team for addition, deletion and /or modifications in the approved drawing to make as built drawings.
