* Organize and follow data collection and processing
Planning data collection
- Ensure implementation of field activities in line with project proposals and directions from the line manager : Plan activities according to the expected progress of the project; Planning for door to door activities, group session and data collection;
- Determining training needs for the staff;
- Ensure harmonization and updating of data entry and analysis and activity indicators;
- Assess continuously the projects’ follow-up methods and propose improvements;
- Participate in the analysis and drafting of the activity and evaluation reports of the staff.
- Plan activities according to the expected progress of the project;
- Carry out project monitoring.
* Lead, manage and provide support to the project’s team closely with PM in preparing the work plan and organizing the activities;
Activities:
- Train the team members;
- Develop training topics;
- Organize the work of the team to optimize the capacity of each team member;
- Perform performance evaluation and appraisal of the team.
* Participate in the coordination, representation and partnerships of Action Against Hunger
Upon request of the WASH DPM or WASH PM, participate in meetings and events for WASH meetings.
* Ensure adherence to Action against Hunger gender requirements
Commit and comply with the organization gender, age and diversity principles & policies
Organize home visits and visits to the community (schools, public market, hospitals, etc. ) to identify shortcomings in terms of hygiene and use of water;
- Participate in preparing training modules for the promotion of hygiene and water management with the base manager, hygiene promotion team leader and/or the Wash head of department;
- Participate in developing teaching tools adapted to different audiences : songs, role games, meetings, training courses.
- Identify targeted partners within the communities: schools, hospitals, clinics, place of workshop, etc.
- Apply the defined methodologies in the hygiene promotion and water management awareness raising sessions;
- Participate in elaborating a planning of awareness raising activities;
- Conduct training sessions for the community workers and/or targeted populations;
- Participate in evaluation missions and in distributing of non-food items if distributed;
- Write a summary of the activity reports;
- Propose possible improvements.
Organize sessions in the communities to identify the deficiencies in terms of hygiene, sanitation and the use of water;
Organize/facilitate group awareness sessions on hygiene practices for men/women in community and other identified locations;
Participate in preparing training modules for the promotion of hygiene with the supervisor;
Participate in developing teaching tools adapted to various levels of the population: songs, role games, meetings, training, etc.;
Participate in evaluation/assessment missions;
Participate in the organization and the distribution of kits.
Train and mobilize the community members
Give psycho social support for children and adults; by implementing awareness sessions for parents and caregivers about child protection, violence towards gender.
responsible for supporting and supervising the implementation of Mercy Corps Conflict Management for Syrian Refugees, Host Communities .work as a primary contact person for the project participants and coordinate their participation in the project, including training modules, follow up, mentoring and community projects identification and implementation and continually monitor all aspects of project performance.
