1.Develop new customers through on-site sales calls and phone contact.
2.Generate new leads and prospects as well as support existing accounts.
3.Initiate and control the sales process with new customers.
4.Provide service, assistance and guidance to customers.
5.Develop a complete understanding of the competition.
6.Attend and participate in all sales meetings and promotional events.
7.Communicate with and support administrative personnel to keep customers in credit terms.
8.Understand and follow all company policies and procedures.
9.Utilize order and pricing guides to promote products and generate orders daily.
10.Support daily specials and extra-value items.
11.Maintaining relations with preferred vendors to ensure a high quality merchandise procurement, expedient delivery, and dependable service at optimum price.
12. Purchase reapproved items.
13. Negotiating POs with vendors.
14. Help in processing purchase orders including sorting and researching
15. Determining and recommending products to be stocked in quantity as necessary
16. Develops bids for assigned goods
17. Evaluate bids to ensure compliance with specification
18. Ensure compliance of purchasing activities with organization regulations
19. Dealing with orders that consistently request and development purchase agreements at prices and terms of suitable.
20. Handling most of urgent requests that need to be purchased either import or from local vendor, and taking the quick action to procure this item.
21. Analyzing markets to determine vendor's sources and product availability.
22. Receive requests; obtains estimates; updates records, initiates paperwork and follows up on request for approval.
23. Prepare comparison statement for received quotations.
