Personally managed a division of 15 personnel during which we successfully completed Pre-Deployment Certification, Western Pacific Deployment, transition into a dry dock and Depot Modernization Period.
• Leverage my leadership experience and operational training as Basic Mission Report (BMR) Officer during the Western Pacific Deployment to perform over 500 hours of tracking, shallow water operations for three missions vital to national security - all contributing to the ship earning the Squadron 5 2011 Tactical "T" and Battle "E" awards.
• Demonstrate continuous improvement through operational support and training during Western Pacific Deployment by logging over 2, 000 hours / 30, 000 miles safely and without incident, resulting in an excellent performance review during the ship's 2012 Operational Reactor Safeguards exam.
• Awarded The Navy Achievement Medal for successfully overseeing and managing emergent repairs of ship's critical components enabling the ship to remain on station and complete missions vital to national security.
• Lead a team of ten watchstanders through over 30 hours of shift work performing high risk nuclear procedures and plant operations to successfully complete primary and secondary relief valve testing.
• Hand selected to assist USS Pennsylvania during sea trials as a Liaison Officer onboard the range safety vessel. My contributions ensured safe and efficient completion of a 10 day sea trails.

• Oversaw emergent repairs of sub’s trim pumps, air compressor, low pressure blower, and main seawater pump while deployed; enabled sub to execute 3 missions vital to national security; earned Navy Achievement Medal.
• Analyzed/discovered/revised inadequate ground isolation procedure; improved casualty response and readiness.
