Directing the use of all floating crafts and ensuring that they are kept in class. This includes tug, Work Barge and five Launches/service boats. Supervising the maintenance of launches, barge, tug, buoys and lights.

Plans and pilot proper mooring and unmooring (CMB, SBM and LPG Jetty) of export tanker in timely manner.
Acting as a Loading Master on the export tanker and inspect the crude oil transferring process. Conduct marine and safety inspections ensuring the incoming tankers implement Quality Health, Safety and Environment Policies & Procedures. Lead pre loading safety meetings on board of the lifting tankers, inspection and maintenance of mooring and loading equipment.
Inspect and make sure cargo tanks dry before loading and sign the required documents as company representative.
Act as terminal representative onboard the export tankers for all export operations, including emergency situations, and for cargo documentation process.
Monitor and check the integrity of the entire export system equipments for preventing any environmental incidents. Inspections and maintenance of mooring and loading equipment. Ensure and monitor the terminal mooring facilities are maintained in order and good conditions at all times.
Advise to the master of the lifting tanker, and safely maneuver the tanker until it is moored to the Single Buoy Moorings, Conventional Berth or LPG Jetty, directs and supervises tanker officers and the ships crews for connecting and disconnecting of cargo hoses to and from ships manifold and monitor the safe cargo loading operation.
Supervises and controls the mooring boats assistance in mooring / unmooring tankers operations.
Resolve all mooring queries and establish a reliable communications between Oil Movement and Lifting Tanker.
Coordinates with Terminal Supt. and Tanker’s Officer regarding cargo requirement, loading / back loading rates.
Ensure that loadings are executed in a safe and timely manner and in compliance with loading procedures.
