• Formulates Standard Operating Procedures on planning the projects & working on new strategies for logistics activities.
• Co-ordination with the suppliers worldwide in regards to logistics/shipping.
• Design, implement, manage contracts & Coordinating with 3PL & 4PL Service providers, Freight forwarders, Transporters and shipping line to ensure optimized results includes negotiating freight rates, better services etc.
• Overseeing all aspects of international shipments as pertaining to shipping and logistics
• Executing Export Documents such as Bill of Lading / AWB, Freight Invoice, Vessel classification certificate, Inspection certificate, Certificate of Origin from Chamber of Commerce, Export Invoice & Packing List and other customs formalities for Export and Trans-shipments.
• Ensure that GCC/EU certificates are provided for all GCC/EU shipments for duty exemption.
• Handling and follow up shipping documents as per define procedures by client to obtain Levy Exemption for local (UAE) shipments & worldwide shipments.
• Arranging Certificate of Conformity, Pre-Shipment Inspection from certified agents such as BUREAU VERITAS / SASO/SGS / COTECNA as per Destination Regulatory System.
• Arranging & monitoring legalization of documents from Chamber Of Commerce, Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• To have proper tracking of pending orders.
• Control of MIS report for Pending/executed Order statistics and submit to the Board of Directors.
• Ensure proper control in the ERP system to check Production Requests, Sales Orders, Customer Invoices, pending SOs, check the payment terms and SOA for each customer.
• Establishing & monitoring comprehensive logistical or reverse logistical functions for product life cycles, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, recycling, reuse, or final disposal of resources.
• Strong follow up with forwarding agents for shipments / clearance / terminal handling affairs / transportation.
• Collaborate with other departments in developing and implementing Logistic strategies for products in a cost effective way; timely manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
• Time to time discussions with client, suppliers & forwarding agents to expedite the shipping process and to ensure well in time delivery at Site / Warehouse.
