This was a motorway project with BUILD - DESIGN - OPERATE contract. The project included the construction of a new motorway 150 km length and the reconstruction of a 180 km motorway with a total of 1.000 million € budget. The construction of 4 Tunnels 9.2km length, 2.7 km of Bridges, electromechanical works, 10 million m³ of earthworks, 250 km of pipe line, 1.5 million ton of Asphalt and 3.5 million m2 of pavement were included in the project.
The Project was based on Yellow FIDIC Contracts.
The main challenge of this post is to ensure the delivering of the project on time, meeting the Cash Flow requirements
I was Responsible for the Supervision of the Construction Works and my main responsibilities were:
• To ensure the construction of the project according to the designs and the specifications on budget and on time.
• To ensure that the designs are being delivered according the plan.
• To review the designs for constructability issues
• To ensure that the project tasks were completed in all aspects (quality, safety, cost, time)

1. Section 4.1.2s Panagia - Grevena. (09/2005-11/2006)
This was a motorway project of 162 million € budget.
The total length of the section was 10 km and included 5 twin Tunnels with total length of 5.9 km, two valley Bridges (1.7 km total length), electromechanical and drainage works of 70 km length and 1, 5 million m³ of earthworks.
2. Section Siatista - Kristalopigi (12/2006-09/2010)
This was a motorway project of 50 million € budget.
The total length of the section was 10, 5 km and one major intersection with two motorways and two secondary intersections with local roads included. Two posttensioning Bridges (150 m total length), electromechanical and drainage works of 50 km length, 1, 5 million m³ of earthworks, 500.000 m2 pavement, 150.000 ton asphalt works and the signage/ marking works were included.
My main duties were the Supervision of the Construction works from the beginning of the project up to the final delivery to the users.
More specifically I was responsible for:
• Supervising all construction works (Drill & Blast Excavation works, Bridges foundation, piers, pre-stressed decks, Retaining walls, box culverts, pile walls, Reinforced embankments, Paving, Asphalt works, Signage & Safety works, Tunneling works with NATM, Drainage and Landscaping works)
• Acting as Client’s representative
• Checking of works quantities and certifying contractor’s bills.
• Cooperating with multi-national engineering groups.
• Attending and coordinating meetings.
• Reporting to the agencies concerned (BoD, CEO, MD).
• Checking Designs for constructability aspects

The main challenge of this post was to manage the construction works on an effective way according to the plan and the cost budget, delivering the project on time.
I was responsible for all aspects of the project construction development (budget, scheduling and planning, subcontractors contract management, project control, design proposals, site/field activity, managing driving and developing large project teams and supervising sub-contractors) for the successful construction of the project up to the final delivering.
