Tarajam is a leading translation and linguists service provider having offices in the region and Europe. It was established in 2009 providing localization and translation services to local and global clients. Also, Tarjama added new business lines including a global marketplace linguistics solution and developing software translation systems utilizing machine translation and AI technologies. The expansion required the restructuring of Tarjama companies and applying new enterprise solutions including SAP Business One and a new specialized billing system. My role is to establish a proper and dynamic finance team to accommodate the expansion of our business.

Al-Mamlaka TV was initiated by a Royal decree to establish an independent news TV channel directed to the Jordanians in Jordan and abroad. Al-Mamlaka TV was in the final phases of preparations before launch. Scope of my work covers the following:-
• Establishing the Accounting and Finance department and overseeing all aspects
• Managing the relationship with different governmental agencies including the Ministry of Finance to secure required funding
• Responsible for all Procurement functions for all contracts and services, adhere to the governmental policies and procedures, and lead the negotiations with suppliers
• Managing and dealing with outside consultants including lawyers, insurance consultant, and tax consultant
• Implementing (Microsoft Dynamics GP) ERP system covering the GL, AP, Cash, and Supply Chain

Teeba has its own manufacturing, farms, logistics and distribution facilities. I focused on:-
• Stabilizing and improving the Finance Department by conducting gap analysis study, review the Finance Org Structure, hiring needed positions, and overall enhancement of relation with other departments.
• Enhancing budgeting and business planning process & accuracy. Reviewing the costing methodology to reflect the actual product cost.
• Placing proper cost controls for better efficiency and optimizations.
• Manage overall cash-flows including bank facilities, payments, collections, and balance sheet items review.
• As an acting CEO, we managed to achieve record sales and margin numbers during the 3rd quarter 2015 and improve KPI’s across Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
• Build 2016 Budget with clear steps to achieve higher sales growth with efficient costs.
• Achieve fundamental changes in companies culture and atmosphere.
