Maintain complete shipping process and responding to all relative Ocean/Air-Import and Export or transshipment pricing request in a timely manner while balancing the profitability and the aggressiveness needed to win new business and make a growth of existing business
Negotiating with Carriers / Nvocc's to obtain the best possible shipping rates for customers
Communicating with agents for booking confirmation, Pick-up and sailing details and forward updates to the client on daily basis with booking status
Follow up for draft BL, Docs and Final Invoice.
Tracking and Follow ups on shipment status, Departures & Arrivals.
Also Sending CAN to clients prior to ETA.
Giving instruction to the warehouse team for Storage, Stuffing and Lashing.
Handling DG and Non-DG shipments both Import & Export.
Ensure that all relevant systems are used correctly for all jobs / Shipments.
Ensure that all jobs are invoiced and closed with the specified time.
Maintain and updating customer, Supplier and agent data bases and operational archives for up to date interaction and reference.

Creation of Sea imports (FCL & LCL) & Air import in tool (E-Freight Suite) and also cross country jobs.
Updating the Manifest details in e-freight suite.
Sending Cargo arrival notice & Invoice to customer by prioritizing based on the Arrival.
Documentation of Shipment related activities and takingresponsibility of all commercial and Accounting, MIS transactions related to it.
Timely generation of Import jobs by prioritizing based on the Arrival.
Updating Provisional costing and Charges to customer.
Verifying on Debit note / Credit note and updating provision for rebate and freight collect invoices.
Coordinating with accounts regarding discrepancy in the costing /charges & assisting to re-solve the same.
Payment request (PRQ) generation according to the agent invoice.
Good rapport with Front office(FO), Import/Export Customer service Team, CFS team, Clearance Team, DO counter& Overseas Agents.

• Confirmed all shipping details before allowing consignments to leave the facility.
• Coordinated overseas shipping with Custom House Agent clearance.
• Maintained an updated database of all shipments deliveries and returns.
• Was responsible for maintaining Inventory control & update relevant system of materials received and issue daily material received note
• Dispatch material to concerned user (issue dispatch/ delivery note) also register daily WH records and movement of material and product
• Established and maintained a strong relationship with the vendor.
