MacGregor & Cargotec
equipment in Brazil & Latam.

• Key contact with all shipping lines and
responsible of own fleet of more than 100
trucks + fleet of cranes
• in charge of 200 staff in 2 departments

Logistics/Shipping & Road
Transport/Heavy Lift projects
• overlooked all contractual issues with
customers,
legal dept., finance dept., consultants,
authorities and subcontractors
• gained big project contracts with several
big international companies
• Managed the Heavy Lift part as agents for
Mammoet
• Set up strict controls on the daily resource
planning to avoid wastage on the logistic
movement of equipment & staff used for
each job
• In charge of the yearly budget preparation

• Started as LCL-Freight Manager
• After 6 months I was promoted to the
Business
Development Manager
• Obtained several big contracts for
customers in the consumer/retail business
and even constructed a purpose built
warehouse for Thyssen Krupp company
from Germany in the Jebel Ali Free Zone
• Obtained several long term contracts with
Oil & Gas companies like TOTAL, BP &
SHELL.
• Assisted with resolving commercial and
freight problems for own internal Al
Futtaim Group companies in the UAE,
Oman, Saudi Arabia & Qatar.
• Was at the start up phase the Main Key
Contact for
the CARREFOUR business in the Middle
East.
• Followed up with the operations that the
service provided was to the full satisfaction
of our customers and that all invoicing was
done correctly and in a timely manner. (by
means of KPIs)
• Followed up where needed with the major
customers on outstanding payments to Al
Futtaim Logistics

• Went through all departments
• Reviewed open purchase orders,
anticipated finished goods deliveries from
the factory, plan the most effective freight
selection and shipping lanes (road - air -
sea) for the delivery of their products to
their worldwide customers at the agreed
dates and timings
• Prepared the contracts and service level
agreements with the customers
• Made several important customers
• Was responsible for the set up of a
worldwide agency network
• Traveled worldwide to meet customers &
agents
• Supervised up to 15 people
• Prepared weekly & monthly reports for the
General
Manager/Owner of the company
• Followed up with customers on the
payments
• Negotiated rates with the shipping lines &
other vendors
