o CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL WASTE RECYCLING CENTER

The programme being developed as the world’s first sustainable, zero-carbon, zero-waste city, it is of much significance that the waste recycling center be an unique feature of the programme that is committed in collection, storage, processing and then final handling of the construction waste materials.

Hence, the responsibility of the waster recycling center project manager was to initiate projects along with the feasibility, financial study and submit recommendations for the best available option for material wastes generated from the construction projects in the perspective of sustainability objective of MASDAR development programme. The role and responsibility comprises of initiating, scoping, planning, budgeting, directing, executing and monitoring various projects in the perspective of construction waste material recycling center management.

3 projects were successfully initiated and scoped, which are crushing the concrete waste materials to reuse, manage the excavated earth materials in a segregated manner to reuse depending on the material type and management of recycling center including the market research for procuring the material processing equipments.
