proper prescription of medications, proper counceling, asking the patient what the physician told him/her about the drug, asking for any concerns, listening carefully and responding with appropriate empathy, talking to patient about drug(name, use, route, dosage form, duration of use, side effects), tailoring the medication to patients daily routine, telling how long drug is needed to be effective, telling benefits of drug & activities to avoid, talking about drug- food, disease, drug interactions, explaining what to do if dose is missed, asking for any concerns, advicing patint to check their drugs before leaving pharmacy, using the appropriate language thru counceling, following up patint to know haw the patient is doing.
