Duties & Responsibilities:
# Monitor, Coordinate, Supervise and Audit MEP site activities and subcontractors on a day-to-day basis and ensure that project goals are achieved within time frame, required quality and budget in safe environment comply with HSE requirements. Acting as a focal point to MEP Department, subcontractors and Construction team with site activities and subcontractors.
• Review, evaluate and the co-ordination for technical submittals and shop drawings prior to submission to consultants and clients according to required project standards as per contract and submittal logs.
• Ensuring the technical documentation is properly produced, reviewed, controlled and submitted in accordance with the project specified requirements.
• Ensuring that the client's requirements for MEP are fully and correctly understood, and are developed / detailed in the drawings and relevant submittals.
• Ensuring work are executed according to contract specifications, approved design drawings, agreed procedures, and method statements.
• Maintaining detailed records of MEP technical developments and variations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to complete work in accordance with approved shop drawings and relevant materials submittals.
• Negotiate with client and consultant for obtaining approvals for requested modifications.
• Monitoring of all subcontractors’ activities to ensure quality and progress are maintained.
• Co-ordination of Inspections to ensure the Quality of MEP materials and installation of work is in accordance with the acceptance criteria for the Project.
• Coordinate with contractors to submit QA/QC and HSE reports, as per the project approved quality and HSE plans and inspection test plans. And ensure QHSE requirements are incorporated and adhered to.
• Put in place quality assurance procedures to ensure that procedures for review and inspection of installations are maintained throughout the project period & Enforce safety rules (Arabtec guidelines) at all times and report noncompliance.
• Provide input to Quantity Surveyor for interim payment applications, variations and claims.
• Review and approve subcontractor’s payment in line with estimated work completion so that they can be paid for the actual work done.
• Monitor and help Contractor's submittals to local authorities and ensure that they are carried out in a timely manner in accordance with the contract document.
• Meet with Local Authorities along with Contractor(s) where required and attend site visits by Local Authorities in order to clarify ambiguities and queries to facilitate a smooth approval process.
• Review of MEP samples, Coordinating and Assisting in preparation of mock-ups.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and assess them against the project schedule
• Daily follow ups and visits for all on-going activities in all buildings.
• Perform other similar or related activities as assigned by MEP Manager.

work, Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of all heavy vehicles and equipment, creating maintenance schedule and procedures and arranging the transportation of all heavy vehicles and equipment to different sites.
