1. Research the latest information technology security trends.
2. Overseeing the operations of the enterprise's security solutions through management of the organization's security administrators
3. Monitor organization’s networks for security breaches and investigate violations when they occur.
4. Help to design, implement, and maintain the organization’s cybersecurity plan and security infrastructure
5. Develop and direct implementation of security standards and best practices for the organization.
6. Direct the installation and use of security tools (e.g., firewalls, data encryption, zero-day attack protection solution, SIEM), to protect sensitive information.

Assess threats, risks, and vulnerabilities from emerging security issues
Draft enterprise security standards and guidelines for system configuration.
Perform and create procedures for system security audits, penetration-tests, and vulnerability
assessments

Provide Participation in the areas of information classification, risk assessment and
standardizing of role based permissions based on business and organizational needs.
Provide Consultation in Network Security Designing of enterprise network.
Work closely with other operations staff, engineering development and client services to
ensure Ministry of Interior’s services are secure and available 24 x 7, additionally includes:
Working with System Administrators to ensure all servers have required security
baselines, maintain proper patch Management, anti-virus, and other threat
protection actions.
Working with Network Engineers to assist in the installation, configuration, testing
and management of network devices and ensure overall system and network
security.
Working with Application engineers and developers to ensure that all applications are
secure.
Install and maintain security infrastructure, including IPS, Firewalls, IDS, log management,
Network Routers, Switches and security assessment systems.
Security Hardening of Network Devices and Servers
Responsible of preparing a security awareness program of Appnetics Staff.
Implementing security Controls for protecting the company's assets.
Implement and configure company's wireless LAN.
Administration of company's Network Equipment ( Switches, Routers, Firewall)
Monitoring and maintaining the different security controls.
Running Vulnerability scan
Security audit of the workstations, and enforcing the corporate policies.
Administrating company's security Controls ( VPN server, Corporate Antivirus, Proxy server, Network Scanner)
Administer and design of Public key Infrastructure.
