Being the Second member in the organization, setting up the overall IT systems & infrastructure, helping the holding company in Kuwait to setup business units and facilities is the major achievement in Riyadh, consultation assignments for other companies in the group (Kuwait & Egypt) was assigned to me to enhance IT systems and infrastructures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ensure that the systems are up and running and well maintained.
• Review the decisions of the management pertaining to technical details in
computer systems and networks.
• Prepare project details and company plans for future expansion.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions, negotiate with
suppliers, manage the budgets.
• Lead software development to help the organization reach its objectives.
• Set annual targets related to IT operations and monitor the overall performance of the entire department.
• Communicate with the client for service level agreements.
• Design and implement IT policies with the consent of other board of Directors.
• Prepare an annual business plan for the IT department, by coordinating with
other departmental heads.
• Come up with innovative ideas and keep tabs of the latest technology.
• Checking daily backups, all system interfaces, Server hardware and logs.
• Supervision of IT supervisors and clerks.
• Assign IT Staff daily jobs and check lists, train them on all needed theoretical
and practical procedures, trouble shooting and support with in corporate standards.
