I was working on the position of Qhse Coordinator with Eurest Catering for 4 years from 2009 till 2013, at this period we were under the responsibility of compass Group, the reason where i got more experience on the Qhse role, may include:
• Responsible for identifying hazardous workplace conditions.
• Takes samples and measurements of hazardous materials, and coordinates the removal of physical, biological and chemical hazards.
• Trains employees on safety policies, procedures and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state health and safety regulations and ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines.
• Participates in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections, providing inspectors with appropriate documents and identifying safety measures.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
• Helps design and implement organizational health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and regulations to ensure a healthy, safe and environmentally compliant working environment
• Monitors the removal of physical, biological and chemical hazards and trains employees on health, safety and associated environmental policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintains corporate automated security system and employee identification card system; conducts inspections of work area and equipment for compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Ensures employees in each function follow established health, safety and environmental protection procedures and comply with associated federal, state and local regulations.
• May observe several behaviors in a person that could be strong indicators of his capabilities in the Construction Safety and Health competency.
