Currently managing the Amman Vision for Transport Company’s project for the operation of AFC clearing house
and supply of technology.
* Equipped 135 buses with the latest version of AFC and AVL systems that will allow for compatibility across
various types of open loop and closed loop payment transactions, as well as online and offline E-Wallets.
* Built an in-depth understanding of the e-payment systems in Jordan and connected with the regulator, key
players, and service providers to explore options in establishing an E-Wallet and providing access to other
existing E-wallets providers to purchase bus rides.
* Launched a citywide passenger information system in order to create a modern and reliable public transport
service.
* Pursued the request for proposal issued by Amman Vision and prepared tender documents that resulted in
being the successful bidder.
Established and Registered an E-commerce company in Dubai’s Internet City Free Zone area on behalf of
NASCO Automotive in order to kick start the automotive giant online sales channel through a B2C online
automotive spare parts catalogue catered towards car owners in the MENA region.
* Managed a team of in-house and outsourced IT professionals to design a modern user interface and a
streamlined user experience.
* Developed an online automotive spare parts E-commerce portal that utilized a fully customizable enterprise
integration layer for reading real time inventory levels and placing sales orders automatically into the
corresponding backend company.
Board of Directors Member at the Comprehensive Smart Cards Company (Ekartak
Directed information systems projects from inception to execution based on best IT project management
practices, created a technical roadmap with clear and measurable delivery milestones, strategically allocated
resources and managed a team of ten members to achieve on time and on-budget delivery.
* Established in collaboration with Group CEO and COO a Group Information Technology Strategy that is aligned
with the organization goals and objectives which in turn contributed to the group business units by enabling
them to optimize existing processes, innovate, find new and better ways of doing things, and deliver solutions

* Worked closely with BMW and General Motors IT groups in headquarters to deliver integration with local dealer
and led their efforts to implement their initiatives.
* Played an instrumental role in company-wide migration from legacy systems to modern Enterprise Resource
Planning (ERP) systems such as Sage ERP and CDK Autoline previously known as Kerridge in order to
standardize the financial and operational procedures across a large group of companies.
* Promoted optimal performance, reliability, and security across core business systems based on an IT
governance framework designed to be in line with the organization long-term goals and objectives.
* Built a centralized IT support department to provide on time customer service to fifteen companies within the
Group in Jordan and to seven countries across multiple geographies.
* Created a single point of contact with a centralized IT service helpdesk aligned with the five stages of the
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service life cycle that guaranteed a high level of IT service
quality and consistency.
* Re-engineered processes and technologies to strengthen security posture, enhance operational efficiency, and
control costs.
* Continuously assessed, evaluated and implemented new trends in technologies, systems and infrastructure
Launched an E-payment and AFC system for public transport buses in Amman through marketing and
distribution of Mifare Smart Cards in collaboration with the Amman Municipality, the Land Transport Regulatory
Commission, and marketing and distribution agencies.
* Established a first of its kind E-payment-based mass-transit financial clearinghouse in Jordan where all AFC
transactions get settled and paid.
* Successfully operated the first public transport fare collection system for a fleet of 600 buses that service over
100, 000 passengers per day.
* Worked on product development and branding for the E-Kartak electronic payment, AFC and AVL systems.
* Managed a team of consultants and professionals to expand the reach of the E-payment network and make
sure all bus passengers have access to sales outlets and points of sale around the city at Amman bus terminals.
* Drove the company’s growth and development by creating one of the first Fleet Management and Vehicle
Tracking subscription services in Jordan. This generated substantial profits for the company by utilizing the
existing resources and infrastructure.
