I am responsible for the following:
• Review all credit proposals of SME's (Up to 10 MM LE)
• Review all the investments and venture capital proposals.
• Review the credit proposals of Banks, Co-operatives, NGO’s & non-banking financial institutions "NBFI" to fund them.
• Review the feasibility studies of poultry projects (Loans Up to 25 MM LE)
• Set and evaluate the annual target for all regional offices (branches).
• Responsible for launching new loan products (setting main features, defining IT requirements., defining target customer, pricing, documentation, …. etc.)
• Sharing in preparing fund’s agreements with Donors.

In addition to the following Investment duties:-
• Review all the investments and venture capital proposals.
• Attending general assemblies for the companies in which the SFD is a shareholder.
• Evaluate the performance of the SFD's investment portfolio.

Additional responsibilities:
• Board member of Insurance company (Egyptian Takaful "Property & Liability").
• Board member of Micro finance company "REEFY".
• Member of credit & risk committee.
• Member of the credit Policy committee.
• Member of the Investment & Venture Capital Policy committee.
• Member of Investment committee of Misr Real Estate Assets Co.
• Member of Investment appraisal committee.
• Member of the SFD’s direct lending schemes committee (policies & procedures).
• Coached the direct lending officers of SFD’s regional offices.


Also i established venture capital department in MSMEDA and prepare the investment policy.

•Recommends repayment schedule based on cash flow generated from the core operation.
•Prepare loan proposal; credit analysis, cash flow projections, stating proper covenants and summary of loan request, and submits to loan committee for approval .

•Study and evaluate the investment opportunities.
•Evaluate shares using modern techniques (discounted cash flow, multiplies and ….. etc)
•Analyze market conditions to determine optimum time to execute securities transactions.
•Prepare fundamental analysis of the companies that are traded on the stock exchange.
•Attend general assemblies of the companies in which the bank have shares in.

Retail duties :
•Study the Egyptian market to launch AWB’s consumer finance products.
•Participate in designing and implementing computer software of car loans.
•Set the Criteria of granting car loans.
•Prepare the feasibility study for launching AWB’s card centre
