Study contract documents, scope of work, drawings and specifications and prepare material estimate.
• Preparing preliminary operating schedule.
• Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan.

• Effective implementation of material handling system to reduce material handling.
• Knowledge of various welding techniques such as SMAW, MIG, FCAW and machinery and consumables used for these processes.
• Conducting material inspection in compliance with purchase order, review & verification of material test certificates for various materials.
• Devising and implementing quality assurance program in compliance with company requirements.
• Prioritizing quality assurance responsibilities based on the integration of new designs and products into current production schedule.
• Carrying out stage wise inspection for piping pre-fabrication & welding and reviewing sub-contractor as per specifications.
• Anchoring on-site erection & commissioning of plants and ensuring effective resource utilization to maximize output.
• Providing administrative and technical direction to all quality control personnel encompassing personnel administration, resolution of technical problems, development / approval of in-house training, etc.
• Preparing the project evaluation framework to assess the strengths and identify the areas of improvement.
• Organizing progress review, expediting contractor’s field activities and handling progress reporting to senior management on a weekly & monthly basis.
