Aircraft Charter Sales/ Business development
• Sales and servicing of Spot charters and Short to long term contractual air charters with the DHC6-300 twin otter aircraft.
• Building relationships with corporates, oil and gas mining companies, coal mining companies and catering to their air charter requirements to remote air strips using STOL (Short Take Off and Landing) aircraft
• Monitoring adherence to safety protocols for aviation in mining, exploration and energy, BARS (Basic Aviation Risk Standard), OGP Standards.
• Liaising with ground handling crew for pre charter and post charter operations ( Flight Documentation), handling of special requests by clients.
• Organizing MEDEVAC charters, High Value Cargo Charters (Equipment: Diamond drill, precious metals)
• Assessment and expansion of business development opportunities and market analysis by participating in various energy and mining exhibitions, client canvassing.
• Handling the full life cycle of a charter flight,
Cold calling,
Quoting,
Pre - flight,
Invoicing,
Post - flight,
Feedback.
• Handling full life cycle of Contractual bidding process for short (3 months) to long term (36 months) contracts.
