Network Engineer - Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) at Etisalat Telecom Dubai UAE.
PRESENT
Operate & Maintain the Deep-Packet-Inspection Equipment and related systems for continuous uptime, best service performance and to troubleshoot any problems- related to them.
Design, Coordinate & Deploy new procedures & processors to manage traffic, as demanded by Changing Traffic Trends or the day-to-day operations.
Analyze the performance, quality of the network and achieve the set target of KPI in IPTC network.
Generate reports from DPI system, analyze them and report to Line Manager/HOD.

Currently working as a Specialist Network Engineer at Scicom (MSC) BERHAD in Malaysia. which is one of the largest contact centre outsourcing service providers in Malaysia.Responsible in the,
•Work closely with global team and introduce best practice requirements on the process and infrastructure to the region.
•Monitor and manage the LAN/WAN network, connectivity between all datacenters extranets, and contact vendors when necessary to establish connectivity, deploy and configure routers/switches
•Manage and collaborate with external vendors such as carriers and cabling contractors for daily and project requirements
•Closely coordinate and conform to Change Management policies, process and procedures on any data network changes

•Provide 1st/2nd level support to Core Network Services and problem resolution in customer network issues.
•Manage or participate in new setup or upgrade of network infrastructure.
•Working with Project Team members closely to complete tasks assigned accordingly to the deadlines given.
•Representingthe Lankacom at the IPv6 working committee organizing by the TRCSL (Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka)

Graduated from Faculty of Engineering University of Peradeniya and having BSc (Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Second Class Honors Field of specialization – Telecommunication Engineering Technical courses followed include Communication Theory, Data Communications, Digital Communications, Advanced Computer Networks, Communication and Wireless systems, Network Security and Cryptography, Computer Programming, Information Systems, Digital Image Processing.
